I'm in for semi-realism.  I will say that I always thought the X-men stuff was kind of silly.  There is a pretty huge difference between a "flaming homosexual" and a dude who can actually engulf you flames.  Fear of the one is ignorant racism.  Fear (or at least concern about) the other is pretty damned rational when you get right down to it.

I'll be honest, if I want to play in a realistic game I'll steer clear of superheroes and play something else. I joined this game for fun and escapism, not to track ISIS or bring down multinational cartels. If we wind up going down that "realistic political" road I'll likely drop.

As for the game I have been looking over and I think the balance for semi realism and fantasy should be a good balance for everyone. I am a fly by the seat of my pants gm but the last games I ran lasted for several years with a great group so I don't think anyone will be disappointed.

Hey Doc Oc!

Our team seems very melee focused, quite mobile though. Green goblin is the probably the best ranged option we have at the moment. Hmm.. I didn't think the day would come when I thought, 'man we could really use Hawkeye on our team'. Maybe I should have written in some fireball spells or something.. hmm.

We also have a good amount of disabling abilities, maybe we can hold the baddies down and let Two at em.
