In reply to Taskmistress (msg # 956):
Volunteering at hospitals, I can see. Although keeping him from checking plant pots and cabinets of all descriptions for "treasure" might be hard.
And for reference, the original description of Woundhealer from my RTJ to explain why Bloodrager wouldn't be able to easily cure cancer:
quote:
Woundhealer = A broadsword with a black stone hilt, bearing a symbol of an open hand where the crossbars meet. The antithesis of a weapon, Woundhealer's blade passes
through flesh, blood and bone without harming them. Indeed, it heals what it comes into direct passage with, though this is limited to actual repair of tissue
and won't eliminate foreign objects, poisons, nor cure the cause of a disease (it will heal the pathogens and parasites just like the host). Against undead and
beings that live off dark chi, though... those it can harm, cutting into their anti-life nature with its own limitless wellspring of life force. This is the
reverse of the sword graces of the rest of the Swordsmen which are genuine weapons with various properties. Woundhealer may be summoned to his hand via rage vomit.
