For his part, Bloodrager was confused and had gotten himself lost trying to follow Darkstar's order to follow him. He'd lost sight of the darkling one, and had no idea where the destination was on his own. Coldblasted 3 dimensional universes... the idea of dropping control and letting his human side lead the way never even occurred to the hive mind.

"Damfino," Kevin told her/them.  "My best guess would be nobody.  On the other hand, we apparently have an ex-SHIELD base as our HQ.  I'll bet you a creepy van full of strange-danger candy the place is still bugged from top to bottom and SHIELD sent somebody down here to keep a rifle sight's eye on us just in case."

"I should tear out his heart and feed it to him... " she growled pacing in place. She was aggravated and her skin itched. She scratched at the giant scars along her wrists. She then slapped Darkstar without warning. "Dont cut me open if I do die, and i don't die, It can come out on it's own. " she said slightly annoyed and still naked.

"Ow.  And sorry.  We're still kind in our getting-to-know-each-other phase," Kevin told her.  "Okay, the nudity thing is both creeping me out and turning me on.  Let's maybe do something about that."

He teleported into a store and filled it with pitch-black Darkforce.  Then he grabbed a few things off various racks and teleported back to her.

"Here we go," he said, showing her various clothing and shoes he'd stolen.  "It was a Hot Topic, so you can be a vampire, a slutty vampire or an ironically slutty vampire."

"Oooh, wait, here's a good one," he said, showing her jeans and a shirt that said "I'm With Stupid" with arrows radiating in all directions.

"I can make clothes..." she trailed off. Well her partner was out of commission for a while. She looked at the selection. She then began walking off still naked . she had a lot to think about. Herself, her future, her meaning. She didn't know who she was supposed to be. Or who she was. Evelyn was supposed to be Dead. But she couldn't die. There was a paradox at play.

"Come on.  I cut you open and tried to make out with your partner.  And I said mean things to you.  I'm trying to apologize, sort of," Kevin said in a plaintive voice.  "Just put something on and pretend to make me feel better, okay?"

"Why are you so afraid to see me like this? Isnt this exactly what you enjoy?" she said turning around with a glare hands on her hips hiding nothing. She was angry but she couldn't exactly get to mauling so she had tonuse what she had.

"Yeah, kind of.  You're, uh, human form, is pretty cute.  And I don't mind scars.  They mean you survived whatever wounds the universe threw at you,"  Kevin told her.  "So yeah, if it was me, I'd say get your streak on all night long."

"But it's not just me.  Pretty soon other people, innocent, traumatized people are going to start peeking out of their hiding places to see if their nightmare is over.  And if they see you walking around naked, they'll figure it isn't," Kevin noted.  "Plus, some of our teammates are a little more conventional than me and they've had a bit of a day.  Plus more, I went to actual Hell, so maybe I'm not at my best right now either.  So, for the sake of everyone who isn't you, put some clothes on."

Williams came out of the side door to see them both standing...That's enough Harbinger! William said.
SHIELD is here we need to go now! he told them.

Looking up at William she backed away. "You tried to have me killed. I'll remember that." she said coldly. Her body ready to run as far as she could and escape this nightmare.

"Dude, I'm having trouble enough just getting her to put on actual clothes.  I don't like my chances for getting gathery with her," snapped at Naslund.

Flicking his gaze to Harbinger Kevin said.  "The fact that I didn't vaporize you on sight argues against that.  Figure the sniper was SHIELD's move, not his,"  Kevin extended a hand to her.  "And if they try again, they'll eat Voidfire back.  Come on, let me.  Let US, help you.  Please."

Spider-Man, eventually caught up to Darkatar and Harbinger. "Look, I don't know what's going on but can we at least get out of here?" Even though his spider-sense hasn't alerted him to anything yet, he really didn't want to stay in this area any longer.

She didn't say anything just walking back towards the warehouse. She should have fought them all but what was the point. She couldn't outrun them, she couldn't outfight them, without her other half she was nothing. She just put her hands behind her back crossing her wrists.

William looked at Harbinger and was confused, He hadn’t seen her get shot.
He shook his head knowing at this point there was nothing he could say that would help this now. Nor was William in the mood after Harbinger’s double cross , the more they continued to argue the more possible agents would show up.


Web her up Spiderman, She ran once I don’t need to have her running again. He gave Spiderman a look that defied anyone to argue with him.

Darkstar get us airborne …
He looked around and felt a migraine coming…

Find Bloodrager and get us to the Jet ASAP! He said looking around. realizing the big red man wasn't with them.

"All right, hold it.  Nobody's wrapping anybody up.  She joined us of her own free will and she can leave us the same way," Darkstar told William and Spider-man.  "Also, there's no way I can carry all of you.  Spidey can get you and I'll get Harbinger if she's willing to come with."

"But if you do leave us, especially here, SHIELD is going to get you," Darkstar told Harbinger.  "They'll shoot you, again, take you prisoner, lock you away someplace, probably to do experiments on you.  And remember, you can't die.  So it won't ever end."

Finally, he tapped his comm.  "Bloodrager, where the fuck are you?  Walk to an intersection and tell us what street you're on."

In reply to Darkstar (msg # 149):

Hearing Darkstar over the amulet, Bloodrager stopped and stood in place for several seconds trying to figure out what the order meant. An intersection? Okay... he looked around, and walked to where the sidewalk met the nearest driveway. All right, he was at an intersection, but how did one tell what a street was called? That was like asking the dungeon corridor for a gumball.

He tapped his amulet (communicator) with two fingers and replied, "See street. Is black, much cracking. Grass looked healthy, many footprint. Um. Big acorn tree in front blue house? Not seen any treasure chests."

She didn't care if Spiderman webbed her up heading back inside. Of course once she had recovered in whatever hole they keep her she'd be reminded of why she almost didn't join in the first place. She'd tell herself "I told you so" and then escape and kill everyone in her way.

Kevin decided and in the blink of an eye teleported between Harbinger and the other two.  "Harbinger, if you're going to go, then go," Kevin said, without turning to face her, instead keeping his eyes on Spider-man and Naslund.  "I'll keep them from going after you."

"And no William, I'm not betraying you.  Joining your operation was voluntary.  Leaving it should also be voluntary,"  Kevin told him.  "I know you want to do what you think is best for her, but at the end of the day, she's got a right to be wrong and to face the consequences of her own choices."

"Aside from which, we're not set up to keep her as a prisoner for a long term period, and we'd need to, if we dragged her back against her will," Kevin continued.  "So we need to let her go and get the hell out of here ourselves.  If you really want to help a teammate, maybe try to to teach Bloodrager how to read a fucking street sign."

"I... Suppose I can't argue against that." Spider-Man said.  "When it comes down to it, it's up to her to come back if she ever decides to, as unlikely as that is."

William watched Darkstar and in a way was happy to see him stand up for his teammate, However she had just caused the death of a number of innocent people.
Step down Darkstar! I would normally agree with you about she was free to go. Unfortunately the situation in the warehouse has put letting her go out of our hands now.  Williams said.

Spiderman  see if you can Find Bloodrager and head back to the jet. I’ll do what needs to be done with her!

Once Spiderman headed off  He turned back to Darkstar. What he said was true, Harbinger had to pay for what she had done and this was way out of his hands. But as he turned to Darkstar he gave an odd wink, and slowly positioned him and Darkstar to have their backs against Harbinger continuing to lecture Darkstar

Again I am not looking to take any prisoners. I tried to help but she needs time and to settle some internal conflicts. I’m hoping what we did here today will give her a different view on what she does. We still all need time to adapt to this team and to each other…

William continued to talk to Darkstar for several minutes. … And that is why… As he turned around Harbinger was gone. Hmmm, Now that is unfortunate. Maria is not going to be very happy with me. William faked a disappointed look. Guess we should head back and uhm, go look for her, Maybe she’ll try to hide back at the base.

Kevin just stared at William for a little until Spider-man left.  "The situation at the warehouse?  You mean the situation where the girl who is immortal, mentally unstable, possessed by a murderous alien symbiote and, oh yeah, a serial killer who'd previously tortured and murdered over a thousand people even before you put her on our team killed a few more people who were working for Belial?  That situation?"

"And Maria is gonna have to suck on her unhappiness and get in line behind me," Kevin continued.  "As of now, our little group is down to half its strength.  Harbinger's gone, not that she was really even on the team.  Goblin's probably gone.  White Witch is gone and Barbarian has been hurt in a way that not even Bloodrager can fix.  Plus, Two is no longer with you, so she either also left or her invulnerability was kind of exaggerated."

"So right now, we need to fly back home because figure when White Witch left her cool door faded with her, decompress, debrief and then you need to start working the phones or whatever to get the team back up strength.  Maybe get girls, 'cause we're kind of a sausage party right now.  But make sure said aren't, you know, psychotic and make sure they at understand how to get along in the modern world, cool?"

"Alright, I'll see if I can find Bloodrager," Spider-Man said as he left. He proceeded to climb up building closest to him and activated his communicator. "Hey, Bloodrager! I figure you can't be that far away, so can you wave a hand to let me know where you are? I should be able to spot you from where I am."

"Hand? Okay," came back over the communicator. The big red man lifted the hand with his glowing, singing ring over his head and waved it around, peering left and right trying to spot Spiderman's distinctively colored costume.

After scanning the immediate around as best as he could,  Spider-Man spotted Bloodrager's... Glow? "There he is!" He said as he jumped off and swung his way over to him, landing not too far away from him. "Come on, let's head back to the jet, we're pretty much done here."

The big red man nodded, and prepared to try to follow Spidey where he was led. Hopefully he'd stay in sight, unlike Darkstar earlier. Bloodrager wasn't nearly as fast as either of them.
