Re: [Act I, Scene VI] The Gates of Wrath
There is a human [Stormbinder] trapped in a stocks near the front door. There is a Magic Missile glowing above him, set to strike.
As soon as Brodd sees this, whatever fear and uncertainty he had been feeling about heading into possible battle were replaced with a clear desire to set the man free. No one deserved such a horrid predicament!
On the right side is another goblin spearman who isn't pulling the arrow out of his ribcage because he's busy being dead.
"Goblins!" Brodd calls out, perhaps uselessly. "Give them no quarter! They will give us none!!"
It just may be that goblins were not the hard-core killers the young priest believed them to be, but naturally he had heard so many prejudicial stories of chaos-spawn such as kobolds, orcs, goblins. These were beings beyond redemption only fit for a quick death!
As the priest approaches, he keeps his distance, fully aware of his limitations and careful not to get stuck in hand-to-hand battle. Instead, Brodd readies his sling and looks for an unengaged target.
Actions
Run in, but keep to the rear out of melee. Goal is to use sling but not taking shots that risk hitting allies
Perception 10 vs 15, fail
