Updated, and thank you.

Baogang has higher basic speed and goes first.

Re: Mu Kao (Hung Gar Kung Fu) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Did we ever get a ruling as to whether Iron Arms and Iron Legs apply against Pressure Points?

Re: Mu Kao (Hung Gar Kung Fu) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

No we didn't get a ruling on that yet. Here is my considered response:

It will not protect against pressure points. Iron Arms describes itself as resistance to injury, and it protects against attacks that deal injury. Pressure points is not about injury, its a chi power, has very temporary effects, and resistance to pressure points would be a perk in and of itself.

Master Mu bows to his worthy foe, but keeps his eyes on him.

OOC:  Evaluate, no movement.

Baogang steps, bows and evaluates without taking his eyes off his opponent.

Re: Mu Kao (Hung Gar Kung Fu) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Mu strides forward confidently (3 yards†), feints to the left and then snaps around firing off two fast kicks at Bao's midsection!

OOC:  †  Presuming we started on the 10 yard diameter plinth, 1 yard in, 6 from each other and Bao closed to 4 yards with Boa's two steps.

All Out Attack (Feint), a Feint followed by a Rapid Strike of two kicks (Flurry of Blows 2 FP).

18:04, Today: evileeyore rolled 5 using 3d6.  Feint, Karate 19 (18 + 1 Evaluate).  MoS +14.

Why RNG?  Why?  On a Feint?  My first crit in four years on this site and it's on a Feint.

18:06, Today: evileeyore rolled 6, 7 using 3d6,3d6.  Two kicks, Karate 16 (19 - 3 Flurry).

Okay RNG, you're forgiven.  My second crit.

18:09, Today: evileeyore rolled 7 using 3d6.  Critical Hit, first kick.  If any damage penetrates it's treated as a Major Wound regardless of how minimal the amount.

I hate you RNG.  Pure hate.

18:07, Today: evileeyore rolled 12, 11 using 2d6+3,2d6+3.  Potential Shin Kick Damage 2d+3 crushing.

So... when Bao fails* to defend that's two major wounds.

*Hanging all my hopes on that Feint.  All of them.
