Pg 100 of Martial Arts says "If he kicks, he gets no Block or Parry bonus but +2 on rolls to avoid a Leg Grapple (p. 76) and on DX rolls to avoid falling."

That wasn't a Leg Grapple, throw is a different technique that doesn't require a grapple.

Re:  Lane (Kyokushin Karate) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Baogang launches two swift, quickly aimed kicks at Lane's leg, hoping to hit and damage the limb while he's down.

14:57, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  Rapid strike low kicks Skill at 12-2 for leg, +2 for Comitted Attack -3 for rapid strike halved for 1 FP to -1.5, total 9.

14:57, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  Rapid strike low kicks Skill at 12-2 for leg, +2 for Committed Attack -3 for rapid strike halved for 1 FP to -1.5, total 11.

The die roll didn't factor in the Committed Attacks I've been doing because I accidentally copied the formatting over from a previous fight, but with it he should barely make both kicks.

I just realized, can I decide whether you land on your back or front when I perform a throw? Because I just assumed you end up facing up.

Baogang takes an All Out Defense and steps in, carefully guarding against Lane's potential counter attack as he rises.

Re:  Lane (Kyokushin Karate) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Baogang seizes on the opportunity to execute a classic technique of Taijiquan, The Golden Rooster Stands On One Leg.

That is, he attempted to knee Lane hard in the groin while holding his arm in the lock.

Attack 2: 17:59, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  Knee to the groin 13+2 (CA Determined)-3 (Groin Strike) Total 12.

18:09, Today: Dblade rolled 7 using 1d6+1.  Knee strike damage. Lane defends at -2 from specifics of knee in grapple and -4 from Arm Bar for -6.

Re:  Lane (Kyokushin Karate) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Your turn now. Remember that you get a -4 to attack from the Arm Bar and that the shock penalty for groin shots is doubled to a maximum of -8, so attacking is at a -12 penalty I think.

11:49, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  arm lock QC: 19. MoS 8

This isn't my attacks yet. Also I checked the rules and if I'm right you can't retreat while grappled. Please give me a QC using the higher of your HT or ST.

Re:  Lane (Kyokushin Karate) vs Baogang (Tia Chi Chuan)

Since it's proven effective, Baogang continues his knee-to-groin strategy on Lane, striking twice now that he's no longer occupied establishing his hold.

Attack 1: 09:59, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  Knee to the groin 13+2 (CA Determined)-3 (Groin Strike) Total 12.

Attack 2: 09:58, Today: Dblade rolled 11 using 3d6.  Knee to the groin 13+2 (CA Determined)-3 (Groin Strike) Total 12.

Damage 1: 10:00, Today: Dblade rolled 2 using 1d6+1.  Knee strike damage. Lane defends at -2 from specifics of knee in grapple and -4 from Arm Bar for -6.

10:00, Today: Dblade rolled 4 using 1d6+1.  Knee strike damage. Lane defends at -2 from specifics of knee in grapple and -4 from Arm Bar for -6.

Lane should also take 3 points of damage from the Arm Lock. Potential shock penalty is at...-7 here I think, plus the Arm Bar's debuff.
