Arrest the Wizard
oh, so the spell IS centered around him. I thought we said it was stationary, but either stationary or centered on him works.
A spell to sense the location and aggressiveness of the minds around him, presumably not in a terribly wide radius. detection is level 1. Sensing could use long range modifiers, but that feels most appropriate for picking up something specific or a single pulse. For a standing sense, 10 yards feels appropriate, same 10 minute duration, and I'll round down the 1.25 to to 1 energy. If he wants to extend his range temporarily, he can focus and get 20 yards in a specific direction.
He wants to get to the docks. Those are 500 yards away, as the crow flies. That's not too far away. Does he move at a walk, paced run, or sprint?(basic 354)
He's got a minor navigation problem. He can't see more than 3 yards ahead of him. This will let him see where he is going, and he can identify people via his mind spell, but he can't really see the street layout and navigation markers properly. How does he address this problem? How does he keep track of which way the sea is?
Is he trying to take the major roads to the docks? or back routes? this mainly effects how often he runs into civilians, and the difficulty of navigation. What does he do when a civilian blocks the path of his mobile death storm?
In more pressing news, is he going to walk the storm into some of the soldiers, or use some other tactic?
