I am not nobility, so while it is nice to call me Lady, i dont actually have that title.  You were giving me grief over calling you Mister.  Just Jarry.  Giving drifter a little push on the shoulder.

I guess when we get to the part where the bad guys as you call them, start showing up it might not be as interesting.

At some point who ever i get teamed up with i will have to talk to them to find out how best to help them.  I might be able to do ok on my own against some weaker people, for a little bit, but i've always had to rely on my team mates to actually finish something off.   I mean i guess if i could pin someone down long enough i could do something...  it would just be really slow.

Well compared to some of the group names i have heard of that is pretty tame.  There was a group called the cringing chickens, they absolutely failed at their name and were actually tough as rocks, and hit like trebuchets.  I met them once, and i wasn't good enough to join them even for a little bit.  No idea why they used that name, but lots of people knew  if the chickens were around something was going to die a very quick death.

Sure, who else is a member?  I assume some of the people i have already met?  A couple people seemed to be new like myself, so do i need to go on an adventure to prove i am worthy to join?  Or some kind of test?

Warning all the officers he meets he is about to give Lady Tur a cruel object lesson and there might be a few dozen curse words yelled out. l admit the point was a bit over the top and painful but it should get my point across expeditiously, have a Healer on your side! the team can fight the bad guys better.  In any case as far as I know all healers serve a Deity.  Which means you need a place sanctified to said Entity.  One that I hope to meet one day. The sooner the Better to my thinking.  But then I am not certain about your back ground.  Do you follow Mother Nature or in some circles "Gaea"

Well Drifter, that could have been a less painful demonstration,  I do understand what regeneration is.  While my healing spells can not restore a lost limb, I can heal both others and myself of most wounds.  Maybe with some more practice I could research one of my spells to restore limbs.

Yes we have deities, though my magic is more nature based then divine.  Most of the holy magic is against demons and undead in my world.

I have not heard of any of those things, at least not he way you say them.  Fire lizard is that like a dragon but smaller?  Oh yes,  i think after such a thing lunch would be wonderful.

Should i have anything special to bring with, or just myself?

Well definitely not the dragons i know if you can bribe them with meat when they hatch.  Yes it sounds like something that would be fun.

So uhm, do we have to hunt our own deer for meat? or some other game?  I know the basics of how to prepare game, but i was not the person normally assigned to that task.

This is assuming the world has had enough followers to have actual substance.  Some worlds don't make it at all.

Oh Yes, we should check in with who ever is in charge before we go someplace they might not be able to get a hold of us.  I know you seem to have almost magical communication, but even i dont think it would make it that far to the dragons.

He looks down at the department issued smart phone in his hand, and does an about face. A few minutes later, her returns and hands a different smart phone to Jaarenda Tur. "This is a simple unit. Tap that green circle, and it begins to broadcast whatever it hears to the other radios and the circle turns red. Tap the red circle and it stops broadcasting."

Jaarenda touches her ears I'm not sure what an 'ear bud' is or a 'blue tooth' but i am willing to try.  I can certainly handle green to talk and red to stop talking.  I just dont want it to be to much of a bother for other poeple.

I just dont understand how some of these things work.

Jaarenda hands the ear buds back to the officer as they just fall out of her ears.  It might work better, but they simply dont fit my ears like they do yours.  I will have to make due with the other way.
