Re: OOC Thread

Heeeeyyyyyyyyyyy kids...

Okay so you know how some of you have a lot of posting energy?

I've been thinking about a way to harness that a little more...

And, as is my dumb wont... I made another game.

This new game is designed to allow for lots of nice talking and role-playing, and just doing flashy stuff no more than a couple of times a week, so me-the-GM doesn't get too overwhelmed. The idea is for a given player to do JUST ONE OR TWO THINGS per week, and then spend the rest of the week talking to each other (and/or to NPCs) about the amazing things...

link to another game

...What'd'y'think...?

Welp, let me know if you want to join. I have made no ad for new players, have not turned on the "requesting new players" sign... This is for y'all's specific consideration.

(If me not turning on "requesting new players" keeps you from applying, let me know.

EDIT: turns out it does not keep you from applying. So...)

I'm planning on wandering over, GM! Although my posting 'speed,' as you know, fluctuates pretty intensely depending on how busy I am at work, and I'm about to enter another busy & stressed period.

Re: OOC Thread

--Y'all may go back to posting in your private threads whenever you want.

--SO:

--Jon, Ariadne, and Lance need to walk the Pattern...

...So I guess go to bed and use the new REST move (now added to the MOVES thread), each of you, and see how much you do or don't heal up

--Then decide, after that, if you feel ready to try to walk to Pattern yet or not

--I know that Jade planned to spectate Jon walking it...

--If no one decides to walk it the next day, then you can always try spending the day
----researching
----practicing fighting/sparring (maybe calling for a new wager, like Ballad and Lance had "today"...?)
----Whatever else you want

Yes... But I don't feel like making it private (honestly I'm running out of private groupings)

Re: OOC Thread

I agree with Ballad and Jade.  It was a very nice first meeting with everyone!
And the best part is that it felt very natural and honest.  So often in games, when the party first meets, it feels fake because everyone is "We are the PCs so yeah, let's go."  But it didn't feel like that at all.  And that is because of how great everyone is at writing their characters.

I am looking forward to having more group scenes :)
