Screamers may or may not able to bite, summon others with thier cries, and are smart enough to retreat and survive.

They seem to react more loudly to sound than anything else (smell? at least vision, if they even have it).  Either the volume or quality of the sound seems to affect how they respond--e.g. emergency whistles and shouting don't seem to register as strongly as gunshots.

They can be kited effectively this way.  Need to test the whistle with a bullhorn.
