Brandaelfr looks confused and asks, "Fish? There are a lot more creatures lurking in the sea. I was thinking it might be some kind of tentacled beast, because it seems like just our luck to run into another multi-armed nightmare."

"Great, now we’ll never hear the end of Dagrak’s bizarre fetishes."

Drakul was almost crying at this point.

Brandaelfr slams his hand down on the table and nearly shouts, "My unnatural fantasies? The only fantasy I have is to slaughter all these hybrid abominations, scions of some evil sea god as they are!"

His tone turns accusatory, "What kind of Cleric would idly even contemplate such evil? It had better be the alcohol talking, because by the gods above I will end you as well if you turn to the side of evil."

Chapter 2: The Grave of the Pirate Queen.

Drakul rolling around on the floor cools Brandaelfr's temper. Visibly chagrined with flushed cheeks, the Eldhud apologizes, "I am sorry for my outburst. I have a few anger issues. Something to do with the demon blood, although I am trying to work on it. How about we just move on to seeing if we can find these missing children?"

Wandering about the town for a few minutes, he quickly spots some of the village children. He approaches and asks, "Hello! Do you happen to know Rory, and can you show us where he went last?"

"Oh yes! We know Rory!" the children say, "He's the only one of the grown-ups who is nice to us! He's gonna be an adventurer!"

"Why would we show you where he went? You might take his treasure!" the children say suspicious of Brandaelfr.

Fergurth walks up to the kid and places her hand on his shoulder, “He needs us to save him, should we tell all the town that it’s your fault Rory and his friends died in that cave because you were being stupid? If you want his death on your conscience then so be it.” She smiles and removes her hand.

Apparently satisfied that the group is here to help the children pocket their copper and jog off along the beach, "Mr. Rory can't die, he's a big adventurer like you guys! This way!"

They lead the adventurers to the cliff face of Kraken's Bluff, there are many smaller caves and crevices, but eventually they show a cave exposed by falls boulders and cracked rocks. "He went in there with Ulfgar and Tomkin!"

Their job done the children laugh and skip off back to town to spend their copper. The cave is deep and quickly descends into darkness, with night vision or torchlight the delvers see scrawled: “The Red-Eyed Dragon rules the waves!”
Accompanying the graffiti is a crude drawing of a horned skull with bat wings. At the end of the cave the passage forks to the right and left.

Brandaelfr tightens his grip on his halberd and follows behind Drakul and Fergurth. He says, "Feel free to fall back if too many enemies approach from the front. Just stick to the sides of the cave so as to avoid my halberd."

Chapter 2: The Grave of the Pirate Queen.

This cave has a sandy floor and a strong fishy smell. Drakul sees something gleaming white in one corner, a pile of half-buried bones? What could have done this is swiftly answered as the giant crab charges the delvers and attacks their point man with both pincers.

Drakul defend twice or take 10 & 9 cutting damage and become grappled.
