He smiles at her..

"My mom drinks those, so sure, I'll try one..but don't tell dad, he'll tease me"

Blushing as he says it, but not only is it true, it's something they might appreciate.

smiles "Don't even know him"

bring him a strawberry Daquiri

Pista sighs "Girl deserves a good husband"

He smiles..

I'm sure the two of you will meet someday"

"Thanks"  He takes a sip,his eyes growing wide "Kind of like a snow cone with a kick in a glass..I like it"

He looks over at the man...

"Yes she does, one that appreciates her"

smiles "Say the word and I'll get you another one" says cheerfully


"Id agree problem is  that my tribe" sighs

"Has been known to be abusive to its kin I know I seem abusive but..."

He smiles..drinking more of his cocktail..feeling the cold sliding down his throat..the sweetness so fresh..

"That's be awesome, but you don't need to make a special trip, when Pista is ready for more will be great"

His look and tone become serious when he hears his friend's words..

"I think I understand..you do it for a reason, a means to an end..your Tribe tho, does it just because they can..

sighs "Some do. All including myself feel that hierchy is important"

"I'm not judging..just trying to show I understand what you're saying is all..and yes it is, especially in a situation like your's"

He still doesn't agree with the way the man handles things, but does see why he does it..and how it could be even worse, and doesn't wish that on anyone.

"I'm wondering if I'm going to need to marry a normal woman, I mean odds are I would anyway, but I don't think I have it in me to run a house the way you do..I'm not weak, just..different"

nods "I understand Im well aware the tasks of a Camazotz could keep you away from home a lot"

"a wife whos too brow beaten could be a liability there"  adds

He nods..sipping his drink again..

"I'd have to find a woman..or girl..that understands..that has enough of a life to occupy herself yet not so much of one that it takes away from me when I'm home..and most especially, one I can trust with my truths"

He smiles, realizing that he's thought more about marriage in the last few days than he has in his entire life leading up to now.

"Wont lie im even more worried on Olga She is a prize to catch because of her pure breeding making it more likely her children will breed true, but that's a mixed blessing it may mean she'd be prized also means shes likely to be fought over"

He nods..glad that he seems to be saying the right hings, that Pista at least respects his thoughts and opinions..

"Does she have a say in what happens? or is it a to the winner go the spoils situation..or do you pick for her and that's the way it is? or a bit of all of the above?"

His question again probably dumb, but he has such little knowledge about the Garou and Kinfolk and Pista's tribe..

pauses "A bit of the above, I theoreticly have the final say, though I give her word on the issue grave consideration, as well as things like the accomplishments of and income status, rank and talent of the suitor"

He nods with a hint of a smile..

"Sounds almost like there will be some kind of tournament when the time comes, perhaps with her choosing those that she finds worthy to compete for her hand, you setting the rules and watching over it all..like the arranged marriages I've read about but more violent"

His words respectful, since he knows they're talking about a private and sensitive subject...

"Makes me wonder how I'll know who to take when it's time to make more of my kind..or if Bat will make the decision and I just need to carry it out"

nods "Probaly not a tournament, but they'll proposition me saying how good of care they'd take of her" snorts "I'd have to find the most sincere of them"

He smiles...

"why do I get the feeling that will involve some form of violence"

He takes a moment to finish off the daquiri he'd been nursing..

"Because you have a brain perhaps?" He guesses

"We try to keep violence out of such rthings but..."

He smiles..

"And because I listen and learn"

He pauses before continuing..

"But when it comes to females of any kind, that never totally works, there's always something that blows up..moreso for Garou, I'd suspect, since it's nearer to the surface and even more a matter of pride

nods

"Another reason it will be a blessing if she winds up being a Garou herself then any ot these plans  will be rendered moot"

He nods and smiles..deciding he wants another drink but not sure if it's ok to interupt the conversation to ask..still learning the rules of Pista's house..

"When will you know if she is? Is there some kind of ceremony that will tell you? will she start having weird dreams like I did?"

rolls eyes

"She'll go through a firsting quite possibly kill someone"

This time the eye roll doesn't bother him as much, since he doesn't think it was deserved, tho he lowers his head in a sign he understood what was unsaid, yet keeps his voice as even as possible, even taking another bite of the Queso for the time it gives him to gather his thoughts as well as the awesome flavor.

"If it's ok to ask, how is something like that handled, if she kills a human during her..Firsting?"

Even as he asks he notes how seeing himself as different from the rest of the world seems to be getting easier and becoming more normal for him.
