He nods..

"Yes you do, I can only imagine how things like that go..I'm the outsider here, I know, so all I can say is be careful"

Even as he says it he feels stupid since she knows that far better than he is, hopefully she'll see he was trying to be supportive.

"Wish me luck" She advises.


 she talks with Samuel their talking a b I t increasingly heatedly shes on  thin ice.

He wishes her that good luck..wishing there was more he could say as she leaves..

Hearing voices and the rising and agitation of them.[part of him wishes he could hear better, could know what is going on and he's every tempted to try to find a way to eavesdrop..

but then he remembers what Pista had told him on several occasions..that he's not to interfere and is in fact to act like he has no idea anything is going on..so for the moment he just stays where he is.

Things are getting worse appearantly their discussing him looking for a suitor for her... Olga is listening attentively.

His curiosity outweighed by the fear of the sounds he might hear and what they'll mean, he decides to take a walk, heading towards and out the front door, feeling more than a little like a coward, but knowing there's nothing he could do even if he did interfere..

Not that it's much consulation..

in a Minute or two Olga Joins him with a sigh "Can I join you?"

He stops and smiles, waiting for her to catch up..

"Sure you can, anyplace we should go? I was just going to walk but you know the area better"

pauses

"Should we stay in community or go outside of it?"

Not sure what he was expecting but her question wasn't it, he takes a moment to think about it..

"Will your dad freak out if we go outside the community? I don't want him to worry about you"

"Or to get you in the kind of trouble that might lead to..his kind of parenting" even as a thought he can't bring himself to go there..

pauses and thinks "He'd probably get a bit Miffed Especialy if we dont get his permission, your a grown up" sighs


"but if we go right outside of it would he ever know?" asks.

"I think he'd be more miffed if we interupted him right now, even tho we should at least let him know"

Bells go off in his head, he can think of a bunch of reasons this is the wrong thing to do..

"If we're quick about it and don't go to far, it should be ok"

nods at that.

"Where do you want to go just for a drive or to the Mall? Or maybe out for lunch as..." Makes a face

"She may not feel like fixing it today"

He looks over at her, amazed about how much she seems to understand, tho being Pista's daughter he really shouldn't be all that surprised..

"Malls can be fun..spent more than a bit of time there with my friends..and you're right about her not wanting to deal with lunch, probably a good thing if we take care of that ourselves"

Something in what she said catching in his mind..

"To go for a drive or anything like that, we need wheels and mine are a bit of a walk from here"

pauses "We could just go for a walk through the community? or hes probably going to be done with her in a few minutes"

He smiles..

"et's give him that few minutes and a few more after that..let's stay on the side of caution this time and just walk around in the community, you can give me the tour"

He pauses, thinking for a moment..

"If you still want to go to the mall later tho, we can check with him and if it's ok, we can go then"

smiles showing him around its a nice upscale community with its own on sight restaurant "good place for dinner but not open for lunch"

"Daddys on homeowners association but Mommy Usualy Cast his vote"

He makes notes of everything she points put, just taking it all in, their walk relaxed, the day nice..

"It reminds me of the places where some of my friends from college live, tho they don't have their own restaurant"

He smiles..

"I live at the top of an office building my parents own, it's cool..but sometimes.."

He lets his voice trail off as he remembers how young Olga is..

He can't help but laugh when she makes the comment about her mom doing the voting..

"My mom does that kind of thing sometimes"

showing him around a bit.

"Should we head back now?" asks


"Hes definitely done with her by now. except maybe a bit of corner time"

He smiles back..just kind of being..letting the day wash over them both..

"It's probably a good time for that, you're right"

It takes a moment for what she said to sink in..

"She actually has to stand in the corner?"

nods and smiles


then blushes and lowers her head


"Sometimes..."

He watches her..the different expressions, her changing body language...and he wishes there was something he could do or say..

"what's your favorite shop at the mall? and the real question...cheese or mustard on your soft pretzel?"

He hopes asking her that out of the blue will pull her from her sad mood and even maker her smile.

"Bookstore, and prefer Cinnamon and sugar Actually" smiles a bit.

"But want to go for itallian?" asks.

He grins..

"Very old school, I like it and how could I forget that combination..you're right tho, they're awesome"

He thinks about it for a moment, then smiles again..

"Sounds perfect"

smiles and goes with him back home Michelle is indeed standing nose in the corner.

Pista smiles "How are you two doing?" asks unremarkably

He notices what's going on but says nothing, as he was instructed to do in these kinds of matters..

He smiles..

"We're good, we just went for a walk, she showed me around the community"
