Ok recapping on a couple of space combat hard luck truths
Best thing about the hardluk is that nothing is fire linked so if you work as a team it becomes a highly effective fighting ship.
1. Requires 2 pilots currently this is Zachary and X2-D9 and 2 gunners which are Branexx and Jubjub
This allows the ship to be piloted, shields to be operated and guns to be fired with less dice penalties for multiple actions. So everyone currently has a job Jett has no skills at any of the mechanical things... She plays and encouraging tune on her musical instrument.
(X2 I wish you had starship shields not starship gunnery perhaps we can add that with some of those character points you have ?)

Note for all players total character points I have handed out thus far are 14. If you are just beginning the game with us, you may have this number of points to spend after your initial character generation. These are not pips they are character points to be spent as such.

So, for an ability of 1d, to add the skill and raise it, it would be 1CP*Current # dice for +1 pip. Until +3, a fourth CP raises the skill to the full 2d. To make it 3d, it would cost another 8 CP, for a total of 12 CP spent.

Example: Tirog has a search skill of 4D. It costs him four
points to improve it to 4D+ 1.
For a atribute of 1D
new skill
1cp on a new skill -> 1D+1
2cp on the skill -> 1D+2
3cp on the skill -> 2D
5cp on the skill -> 2D+1
7cp on the skill -> 2D+2
9cp on the skill -> 3D
Ther is supposed to be a time factor, but I am not applying that for this instance
