Campaign Classes
It's mentioned in the RTJ, but worth restating, to be clear on what classes i am accepting for the campaign...
I am allowing quite a bit of character tweaking to pass in the form of designing your racial traits, which should lead to some novel concepts.
For this reason, i want to stay close to 'standard' character classes.
I am accepting the following...
From Core Rules...
I accept
Barbarians... Nordic and Germanic ones are the standard, though Black Bloods (Humanoids) fit the model too.
Bards... known in the campaign as Spell Singers (singers) and Dervishes (dancers).
Clerics... I have a campaign pantheon (Nyx, Fate, Sol, Creed, Gaea, Aericel, Luna, and Pyro) with spheres of influence and stuff for them, if interested i will go into detail for them. More easily i will request email at that point to just send my old campaign pdf for anyone interested in reading.
Druids... are an 'older' faith than clerics, and less specific about who they follow and draw power from.
Fighters... The original vanilla tank.
Monks... Asia exist... and from them, come the martial arts... We are however in Euro, so while it exist and is not unknown, Monks are sort a rare oddity.
Paladins... All of the divine have their favored champions in paladins, though 'Sol' is noted to have the largest following (easily over 90% of the paladins)
Rangers... Woodsy Fighters...
Rogues... Scouts... Specialist... thieves... whatever...
Sorcerers... among races that are less academic, innate talent offers a path to the arcane.
Wizards... among the academic, and those in the know, there is nothing like studying the arts.
From the APG i will accept...
Alchemist... Not quite academic, and more haphazard and accidental, they exist bringing their special brand of mayhem to adventuring.
Inquisitors... All of the divine have Inquisitors... Creed more so than others.
Oracles... for those who barely acknowledge the separation of the divine and are more concerned about a concept, the less cultured path of the Oracle exist. Popular among the barbaric and less civil races.
Witches... why study for arcane power when you can just cut a deal and sell flesh blood and there intangible things you'll never miss for tangible power that you can very much use?
From Ultimate Magic i will accpet...
Magus.... a class that blends martial prowess with arcane arts.
This is it... If you are dead set on playing something not on this list, my apologies... its time to move on, this campaign is not for you.
