Medical Bay

"Well hello," Thranel says as the human walks into the medical bay. This lashunta's personality practically fills the room; as he turns, a broad genuine smile lightens up his face. His build is slim and athletic calling him out immediately as a Damayan Lashunta. His robes shimmer with the height of Castrovelian fashion as the colored lines that run in the fabric line up almost perfectly with the lines and swirls on his skin. A large pendant swings from a golden chain marking him as a follower of Yaraesa. "Come in. Come in."

Now that she is fully in the room, she sees that the room is standard of most ship medical bays, though how she knows that is a still a mystery. A glass-walled office is in one corner, revealing a computer terminal and several monitors displaying read outs of both medical and scientific data. Seven separate beds with dedicated monitors above them are against the walls with one separate from the other six closest to the medical officer's office. He reaches out a hand to guide Phelar over to one of the group of beds.

"Lay down right here and we'll have you proccessed and done in only a few moments."

She looked at the pendant with curiosity for a moment as she entered the room fully, but asked nothing about it, least not yet. As he led her to the beds though she would look around the room, taking it all in. Trying to think if just being in this room alone would trigger something in her mind.

"Huh? Oh...ok." At his request she would lay down, looking around slowly at all the computers and terminals. "Processed? So what, well, what are you going to do?"

"Well, first will take a blood sample and then scan you brain so that we can make a more mailable clone, then we'll disintegrate you." He gives his words a full second to sink in before laying a light hand on her shoulder and laughing, "I'm only kidding. We're just going to do a basic check up on you to make sure you're healthy. Now," he produces a small tablet that he quickly taps. The monitor above the bed lights up with various information such as blood pressure, heart rate, and an iconic representation of Phelar's form showing various systems such as skeletal, nervous, and circulatory, "tell me about your medical history. Any family issues? Any preexisting conditions that you are aware of? How do you feel today? When was your last menstrual cycle?"

"Good luck. My brain is empty." She said flatly, almost welcoming the idea of what he was mentioning in the joke. Or was she, playing along?

"I have nothing to tell. I know nothing before a couple hours ago. I did not even know my name until I found it in the computer of the pod I was in." She explained matter of factly. "So other then how I feel, which is a mixture of curiosity and confusion, I cannot answer any of your questions. I do not know the answers."

"Oh...   Who's Triune?" It was a question she'd been meaning to ask someone.

"Of course, of course," he says giving her a reassuring smile.

He taps a couple of times on the data pad causing the monitor to display different readouts as he goes through each of them.

"And here is your reproductive system. Looks like everything's in order. I have to say, human physiology isn't my area of expertise, but, thanks to technology, I can fake it with the best of them." He chuckles at his own joke.

"Triune? Ah yes, it is a god of three parts that's mostly venerated by androids and those with a close relationship to technology. It's also what made drift technology possible."

"Uh-huh,"
he says looking over the pad, "it appears that you're a health human female who's early into her childbearing years. I'd say early to mid twenties? Given all the evolutionary differences even between members of the same race, these numbers can be difficult to stick down, but I'm confident these readouts are correct. They're still processing all the data, so I'll have a complete mock up within a day or so."

"Now I'm not really a councilor, so I'm not sure what I can do about your memory, but I would suggest you study up on generic human customs. Maybe going through the motions might trigger something. I know! How about a birthday party? I've heard a little bit about how humans celebrate them and it might be a great crew building experience."

He seems almost giddy with the idea, but then he looks at her, "Unless you feel like you'd be sensitive to such things."

"...that does not tell me why I would say that name when I touched the computer, with my mind." She explained, pointing out to that she could in fact control computers with her mind.

"I'm eighteen, according to the computer that was tied to the stasis pod I was in." She also pointed out. "Complete mock up?

"Birthday party? I do not even know when my birthday is, or was...  ....I mean, I guess it's okay though. We could do that..." She said with a small nod. Then she shrugged. "I am not sure what I am sensitive to. It's like, except for the essential's everything upstairs is gone. Some of the things I find myself able to do, scare me a little though..."

"That is interesting," he says with a smile. "You might have mystical abilities as I don't detect any mechanical objects inside you. Here," he moves his hands in an intricate pattern and then points at a cup on his desk. The cup floats over to him, "Do you think you can try that?"

Either way, the conversation continues "Yes, yes. The computer will catalog any surgeries or any other kinds of anomalies that we wouldn't be able to detect by just looking. The information is very detailed, but highly complex. " He then holds out the data pad he's been using to her, "Try reaching out to this pad. Tell me what you see. It might give us more of a clue of what you're dealing with.."

Finally he says, "Oh, it doesn't matter at this point what the actual day is. We can just call your reawakening day  your birthday. You are very lucky that we came across you and not less scrupulous beings."

He grabs an auto injector and holds it up to her. "This is just a basic inoculation to various diseases that you may or may not get exposed to. It'll help you fight off most viruses that are encountered today as I don't have any of your medical history available to even know if you've already received them or not. With your consent of course."

Phelar nodded once, but unlike him who did all the intricate patterns before he used the spell, she simply pointed at the cup that he had and pulled it to her. Taking a hold of it. "Like that?"

At his next encouragement, she would touch the back of the datapad with her finger. The screen flickers a few times and she will begin to read verbatim what is on the pad. Another side screen pops up on the datapad showing data she was looking for as well, mostly just to see what sort of public information there was about what she was experiencing. Thing's like telepathy, machine control, psychokinesis, and visions.  Came her voice in his mind.

"...we'll call it my reawakening day then." She said with a simple nod.

"As to your inoculation, lets wait for the blood test?" She asked, politely.

"Very well done," he says with a broad smile as he watches her cast the spell and then manipulate the data pad. The information held within shows several calculations being transmitted to the ship as well as raw data about her body.

he projects back to her, His antenna twitching in excitement.

"Well," he says outloud as she rejects the inoculation, "then be very careful being around anyone else who might be sick and I suggest you avoid sexual contact of any kind until the tests are done."

"That will conclude everything I need from you. If you feel strange at all for any reason, come to me immediately. Do you have any questions? "

She thought back, obviously suspecting that there might be more coming.  Then she considered a moment.  She reached out and touched his arm, linking her mind to his and then sending to him in an instant a lot of information. The information was stuff he'd likely already know, namely everything she experienced on the planet upon waking up. All the information was sent via visual images and the emotions she was feeling during the moment. "There is also, the fact that I saw the Vesk arriving before they did earlier too."

"Alright, I'll be careful." She said with a small nod.

"You seem to have the same abilities as we lashunta have naturally," his antenna are now still as he's studying her. "Also the abilities you speak of are similar to my own. I am a priest of Yaraesa, goddess of knowledge, mental perfection, scholarship, and science," he gestures to the pendant around his neck, "and it's through her that I get my powers. You mentioned Triune earlier, perhaps it is your source? As to your foresight, I'm unsure what this means at this time. "

"Mostly. I have yet to see one use thier mind to control a computer. They have to use thier hands." There was that. "Triune...as my source of abilities?" That seemed like...she just shrugged. "Maybe time will tell, as I gain my memories. If...I even can."

"You'll let me know what comes of the other tests?" She asked calmly. "Are we done? I'm kinda hungry now."

Once Phelar it's gone, the lashuntan medic taps the data pad against his palm as he looks at the door, a contemplative look on his face. Turning around he walks over to his office and stares intently at the scans and raw information as it scrawls on each screens. "What is that he mutters?" he asks no one as he taps a few times on the data pad.

Then the scene fades out.
