[Daniel, your story begins here]

The night had been long and so had the travel. Daniel had been riding all night and didn't stop until he was in Shreveport, Louisiana. The mission he had was an important one and Daniel eagerly looked forward to his stay in Shreveport. Once he arrived early in the morning he checked into a motel and finally got some rest, he had to be alert for the coming night.

As darkness came, Daniel left his current residence and headed for a bar called The Brick, after some interrogation work he learned that it was a local hangout for the Klan. In other words it was a nest for vermin and locusts that needed to be cleared with a hot flame. He stepped into the establishment wearing his road leathers and ordered himself a bear as he tried to spot a scumbag fit for a special conversation.

The sign out front stated clearly which people were welcome and which weren’t. Walking through, the place was thick with tobacco smoke. The Stars and Bars hung proudly on the wall inside, along with other mementos of the Lost Cause. Various blue collar folk drank and bragged at tables, while more suspicious folk stuck to the shadows, casting side glances at the stranger in their mist.

Daniel took a few large gulps of the beer as he continued to have a look around the establishment. After browsing the crowd with his eyes he noticed a table with 6 guys sitting around it, tucked away into the corner of the establishment. They appeared to be lost in a long winded discussion. Danny recognized one of them, a skinny man by the name of Peter McGill, a man who Danny had gotten some intel on, he was a confirmed low ranking member of the Klan who tried to recruit more people for the cause in order to rise in the ranks.

Danny grabbed his beer and walked over with determined steps to the table. He grabbed an empty chair on the way to the table and once he arrived at the empty end of the table he placed the chair down and sat down on it. "Hey there fellas, how's it going?" Was the only thing he said before they all turned to look at him.

The men looked you up and down.

Peter nodded to Daniel with a smile.

”Hey there buddy! We were just talkin’ about the way things are and the way they should be. You’re welcome to listen in!”

"Great! I was looking for some likeminded people." Danny began to spin his tale in order to capture the attention of the bigots. "I just rode up from Texas, are y'all locals? I've been meaning to join and pitch in but I only just found this place."

”We got members that are home grown and from up an’ down river.” says Peter.

”Times bein’ what they are the rules get relaxed a bit, since a lot of honest folk like yerself gotta travel far to get a decent wage, or any wage for that matter. So long as you’re pure in blood an’ pure in heart, you can help us and we’ll help you. That’s what we’re all about.”

The others nod in agreement.

"That's great! I just want to help out in anyway I can." He sipped his drink before he continued. "Y'all know any good places to stay? Any place I can find some work?" Danny was neither an actor or undercover cop but he did his best to act like one of them, he needed more intel. The spirit within was eager to lash out but it would have to wait.

”The motel across the street is run by good people. As for work…you meet me here this time tomorrow night. We might have an assignment for you…help you earn your robes…” He winks.
