Welcome to the Rogues Game.

There is a really helpful FAQ (link above right) that explains all about how to use this site.

There's is a synopsis of the storyline as a series of Topics in the Game Menu.  There were a few points where my memory and notes are not clear, so please Post a Reply (link at bottom right of the screen) to say what you remember.

Your character sheets will be loaded after I get your request to join.  See Character Details link above left.  Let me know if you spot any mistakes.

Once we get going I'd like to move the game along about once per week; you can post as often as you want, but I'll summarise the actions and complete the game turn weekly.

Your first task is to level up to character level 5.  Thymus had already begun this at the end of the last session, going to rogue 5, but you all have decisions to make.  Can each of you please Post a Reply to this message (link at bottom right of screen) with your decisions and I will update your sheets.  If there is anything you want to keep secret, insert a private line to GM (link at bottom right of the reply pop up window).  Later I will give you Edit permission and you can edit your own sheets as we go along.

Character class:  Thymus chose Rogue level 5 so I've already included the update stats for his base attack bonus, saves, sneak attack.

Hit points:  All.  You can use the Dice Roller link above (type HP in the Reason for Roll and tick the box for Reroll 1's) or just tell me to take the average (d4=3, d6=4, d8=5, d10=6, d12=7).  I'll add your Con bonus to the dice roll.

Skill points:  All.
  Thymus has 8 points,
  Nyx has 8 points assuming Bard level 4, and an extra 2 points not spent last time, so 10 points total
  Valor has 9 points if Rogue level 3 or 7 points if Ranger level 3 (or look it up if you choose a different class).
Use points to buy ranks.  1 point = 1 rank, except for CC (cross class skills) for which 2 points = 1 rank.  The max ranks you can have in any skill is 8 (character level + 3).

No new Feats or Ability Score increases at character level 5.

New spells:  Nyx only.  Assuming you choose Bard 4 then you can learn two 2nd level spells.

You can view your character sheet from the Character Details link above right.  While you're there you can also (optional):

-  write a 'bio' (two short lines to describe your character, e.g. like I've done with 'The Lords of Necessity, Chance and Death')

-  choose a character portrait ... you'll love this part!

-  write a Character Description (more space here, you can write a paragraph or a book - entirely optional, won't affect the game, we all know who we are, just if you want to write it all down)

Nyx and Valor have almost completed level up to Bard 4 (character level 5, i.e. +1 for Aasimar) and Rogue3.

Nice try Valor, but you can't use d20 to roll HP :-) ... roll again with dice type for character class you're levelling up in, e.g. d6 for rogue (tick the box for Reroll 1's ... only applies to HP, not used for other rolls during game play).  Or you can just choose to take the average for your dice type, i.e. Rogue d6 average is 4 (+ 1 Con bonus = 5 HP).
