Re: Chult OOC

Traveler’s Outfit: This set of clothes consists of boots, a wool skirt or breeches, a sturdy belt, a shirt (perhaps with a vest or jacket), and an ample cloak with a hood.

For myself, I'm using the SRD for just about everything for my game, although I do have a copy of the old Jungles of Chult 2ed book that I'm using for flavoring.  to get to the online version of the core books you go to this link:

http://geocities.com/sovelior/srd/home.html

---

On a side note, I hopefully have 2 more that will be joining you shortly, unfortunatly they won't catch up to you until you find the old party... If they can survive the trek that is.

Re: Chult OOC

To my Jungle travlers, please feel free to spend an evening getting to know each other a little more, some basic camp talk and what not.  I'm going to try to get Daemon and Elsa out to you soon, hopefully by the time you get to whereever the old group endded up, or shortly after you find the old group.....

btw, Elsa, are you still with us?

Well, it's about time someone take notice to my clothes.  You know, I spent pretty much on this outfit and darn it I will be recognized!  <touches hair>  Really you like this?  I just ran a comb through it this morning.  You are too sweet!

Re: Chult OOC

Wow, you guys stink at spot checks....course it wasn't likely you would have seen these buggers coming anyway, but still!

This should be a fairly easy battle, as long as what happened to the last party doesn't happen to you guys......

Re: Chult OOC

I won't be here for the weekend, as usual. I hope I'm not needed for anything over such time.

Having said that, seeing as Niailee has gone to sleep, I believe the spells stored in her head have been forgotten, so her best course of action for this fight is to constantly take a full defence, anyway.

Re: Chult OOC

Any uncast spells are retained (indefinately) in Nialees' memory until she either casts them or replaces them in the morning.
Sleeping will not cause her to forget her spells.

Re: Chult OOC

Your actually ok, due to some family obligations I'll be a bit slow in posting (doesn't mean I won't still be trying to kill you...I'll just be slow about it) so we may not have a first round of combat til monday anyway.

Also, for combat just post 1 message at anytime until I give a warp up, then post again (feel free to edit your post based on what the others are doing, I'll consider it team work until my post, after which its time travel :P )

Re: Chult OOC

Sorry for the delay in my posting guys, I've got the inlaws in and am trying to be socialble with them.

Also, its a reward, you know what that means, presents!!!!

For this next battle, everyone has a magic weapon spell cast on them for the duration of the fight.  and for Daemon, you get a +1 to your next set of rolls (combat, rp, whatever.)

I like presents, haven't gotten many in quite a while, thanks!  Good luck with the in-laws, I've got a pair myself so I feel your pain.

Yay, prezzies! And take your time. Family are good.

No but the group might all be dead before you get there.
Nialee and Ynvaar are stuck in the web and we're the lucky ones, Kuruk is living in a world of crits -sadly not his own.

One thing's for sure: we're gonna have to work for these XPs!

The goblins are going, hacking at the entangle, casting spells, and going full defense in the aid of a wizard/goblin.  Post and post well, if they don't get free soon they are going to open fire.

Re: Chult OOC

OK, we need attack rolls from Niailee and Ynvaar still, then I'll do a wrap up....bear in mind these are goblins, so look at the damage done before you pick your targets...also, 1 square is 5 feet....average move is 30, charge is better but then you get that nice charge penalty for attacking.....have fun guys!

I'm wondering if I could withdraw from this game. On six HP, there's a really way to write Niailee out really.

Re: Chult OOC

If you wish to withdraw then of course you may Niailee, I'm not holding you prisoner here.  I'm sorry to see you leaving, but if you want to we can either have your character killed off, or you can return to port and set sail for a new land in someone elses game with this character.

Re: Chult OOC

No, it's not a case of "I really like this character but this GM is terrible and is running a bad game". I'll withdraw from the FR circle thing completely.

Basically, I won't have that much time free soon (over the weekend I was busy at a con, soon I'll have a job and be about that busy every day apart from every second weekend). And other than that, well, I don't enjoy low-level DnD. Full  Arcane Casters are the only classes I really enjoy playing, and at low levels it's more trouble than it's worth just trying to keep them alive with everything about them being bad apart from actual casting - even other casters have far superior core abilities (armour, BAB, saving throws etc.)

Besides that, anything below tenth level still puts wizards in the same spot that most characters leave at 5th - "Binary HP". They start the day at full health, one thing rolls slightly above average damage, and suddenly they're reduced to "dying".

And finally, I prefer far more interesting races - races that invariably carry high Level Adjustments. So in short, low-level DnD just isn't for me. So between that and time left, well, I'm better off leaving properly.
