Re: Map

Umm, are you doing the char updates for xp, or are we?. I know you showed the awards but have you transfered them to the char sheets yet?.

Re: Map

You're right, I have not.  My general plan is to update the character sheets on one of the following: first of month, first of quarter, after a big fight or around when a PC levels up.

Unless all the current active PC's (you 3) are also GMs and can update your sheets, I'll take care of it.

make sense?  I'll give Rand another day to post a spell, if he wants one, and then I'll post.

lol.  three in one week?  You'll give Dean Karnazes a run for the $$.

Anyway, Vinny, thank you for stopping by and taking over the Pug character.  By the time you read this, you'll be set up.

Re: Map

What the heck are you talking about Grom?  It's raining steak!!!  *Grins*

Two line summary?  Um...

The characters have a vague map of the area and are searching for an artifact called The Heart of the Jungle.  Another (presumably evil) party also seeks the Heart and they are ahead of us.  We're about to get eaten by something (again).

[Private to Pug:
I don't think it's common knowledge with the other characters but I seem to recall Pug mentioning earlier in the OOC that he had been in some trouble with a thieves guild and ran to Chult for refuge (it's about as far away from anywhere as you can get right?).  It's never been mentioned IC though.

I know the guy who used to play Pug in RL though and we are at a stag do down in Leeds this weekend so I'll ask him for you if you like.

Ynvaar needs help with his bug net, too. (Tag that at the end of Ynvaar's summary.  I think that'll keep us under 2 lines, too)

Re: Map

How would you like us to handle this fbaker? Should we be rolling init and attack rolls? Every DM is different in how they handle combat so give me some pointers please :)

Re: Map

Ahh yes.  Sorry.

I'd like the PCs to roll init and declare movements/attacks etc.  I'm not too particular about who posts first, etc., but i am likely to resolve attacks in the order of init, melded with the actions.

I'm also a smidge concerned about Ynvaar.  He's a DM, so he should be here more often...

I was right to be concerned about Ynvaar; he's got a medical emergency and will hopefully be back.  if you pray, do so.

Dinner is served...

Well we had our scan this afternoon and everything is OK!!!  I can't begin to tell you how relieved we both are, we really had psyched ourselves up for the worst and really thought we had lost the baby.  So we're all pretty chuffed at this end and life is good again.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers guys, it means a lot to both of us :-)

Now then.  I see breakfast has arrived...

This saurus deeley, FB... are we talking a T-Rex type beastie?  I assume since we all seem to be laying into it with sword & axe and not running away it isn't something that is obviously too big to fight no?  and does it have reach for AOOs if we do?

Re: Dinner is served...

I think actually that's why you're fighting.  Because if you run, it's going to get you from behind.

T-Rex are plains animals.  This one's a jungle creature.  ~25 high, maybe 30' nose to tail.  4' jaw.

Fast.

Angry.

Have fun storming the castle, kids!

PS - glad to hear the bairn is good.

For the record, iam killing one of the bantari because Rand said to do so, he is the one with the local knowledge.
