The van ride was short and Reginald's guards efficient. When she took off her blindfold, she was inside of Reginald's lair and the guards had vanished. "Now, I understand that you'd like to learn more about Blood Magic. Would you care to learn from me?"

Nefertiti knew the routine and she allowed them to place the blindfold upon her but she really never understood why.  If one was smart enough they could easily determine by the timing and familiar sounds they could hear.  Also allowing their body to be more sensitive and determine when a left or right turn is being made.

The only thing at this moment she could really think about is that Milo needed to get out of this alive.

She listened to what Reginald had to say and she was pleased to know that he wasn't going to be killed ever so quickly.  Also taking noticed that even Reginald called Dracula his father and not Sire.  Another mystery that she will need to investigate.

A soft smile crossed her lovely face when mentioning how dangerous if pressed Milo can be.  More things for her to uncover.

Nefertiti smiled to Reginald when offered to teach her about Blood Magic "Are you flirting with me Reginald? she asked in jest.  "I do wish to know more about his thing called Blood Magic.  Are you skilled in this matter?  Or will I be meeting an associate of yours? the smile never left her face as she spoke to him.

 Reginald chuckled when asked if he was flirting with her. "Perhaps."

 He led her into a sterile smelling room with  blobs of flesh piled upon the cabinets and skeletons assembled on surgical beds. They were the wolves she had seen Milo wear like a coat. "I think you will find that I am quite skilled in blood magic... and I think you will find what I have to teach you to be most... beneficial."

Nefertiti smiled to Reginald when replying back to his flirting.  It has been centuries since she even thought about a man like that.  But she couldn't resist the chance to enjoy a bit of foreplay.

"Is this the kind of Blood Sorcery you used on my timid frame those few days ago? she replied as she looked at the corpses and wondered how was he even able to preform such a dangerous feat.  Yes it was all exciting and very interesting.  Something surely that she would like to learn.

 Reginald nodded. "It is, though the process for this is a bit different. Milo knows these techniques too, but I doubt he would ever teach you."

 Reginald opened one of the men up and rolled him out on an empty table. You could hear the raspy breathing of a still living creature coming from it. He then placed a finger over each eye and spoke a single word in a commanding tone. "Sleep."

 The eyes closed and he began transferring bones from the table nearby into the body, filling the skin suit back up with each bone placed. "These techniques are somewhat more advanced than the fundamentals. One first learns to shape flesh then bone. Reconstruction and alteration comes later. What I am doing is complete restoration. Nervous systems must be restored properly in these kinds of situations or the individual you wish to restore will not be able to function properly."

 Within an hour, he had restored one of the werewolves that had chased you to Victor's tower. Within two hours, he had restored all three and they slept upon the slabs he had placed them on.

Nefertiti looked at Reginald for a moment as her thoughts ran wild.

Milo knew how to heal my body but never offered or did.  What a wonderful way to start an adopted Sire bond her thought were a bit private but her facial expression couldn't hide the thought.

"You have been so kind and generous to me Reginald.  If only you was around when I was transformed into this being and had you as a Sire. she smiled to him as she spoke.

Nefertiti moved behind Reginald's every step to learn this procedure.  It was truly fascinating.

"What do you call this sort of Blood Magic? she asked as she allowed every moment to be drilled into her memory.  "Restoration? she softly said.

"Bringing the dead back to life? escaped her lips.  "Oh my, Osiris wouldn't be so pleased to know that I discovered this priceless skill. she had a hard time understanding this wasn't the same timeline that she was born in.  If Osiris even still exist.

 Reginald gave Nefertiti a small nod and a slight smile. "Well, it's not too late for that either. I would be more than happy to serve as your Sire if that is your wish."

 When pressed for the name of this blood magic, he offered. "This is called the Path of Flesh. It allows anything from minor changes to the complete reconstruction of a body. As long as the target is not fully dead, they can be restored from any state. If they are dead, then one need only be a little creative to make use of them in other ways."

Nefertiti giggled slightly when Reginald mentioned "your wish "Let's not be a bit hastily in using my wish now.  I am still owed one but still haven't determined how it shall be used. she watched as the others were brought back to life slowly but effective.

"Were they not dead after the battle with Milo? she asked.

"You as my teacher is a great boon for myself.  I do wonder what will be your payment for such a blessing? she said as she looked him up and down.

Taking a moment to study the bodies as they lay there and sleep.

"Are they able to hear me while they are sleeping?

 Reginald chuckled. "Well, we wouldn't want to waste that, now would we? Then perhaps it would be better to say that (I could serve as your Sire) if it was your desire?"


 "No. I imagine he had contrived to interrogate them so he left them alive. It was a small matter, then, to retrieve and restore them. Hopefully they weren't too traumatized by it all."

 When asked about payment, he shook his head. "Do I seem like Victor or the Camarilla to you? Their entire society is based off of payment and favors. The Sabbat operate differently. You came to me needing flesh and I provided. You wish to learn and I can provide that too."

 He made a flourish with his hand and smiled. "All I ask in return is that you pay that generosity forward when you are able. Those in the Sabbat help one another."

 When asked about the bodies, Reginald shook his head. "No. They are sleeping deeply and will not wake yet for several hours, better to give the magic time to set."

Nefertiti giggled at the thought of wasting a Wish.  So far she has another one on hold by Talion.  That is if his face ever reemerge into the world.

"Oh that word Desires.  That is so sweet of you Reginald.  I will keep that in mind cause so far I have no idea what else you are able to teach a newly Kindred. she ponders for a moment "I have no idea what all any Kindred is capable of doing.  I have just became one less than a month.  Oh that bitch Carmilla has taken away from me what I once was and I'm now learning how to adapt to my newly transformation.

Her face slightly contorts in the mentioning of Victor.

If it was him who got the stake in the heart, she would of gladly let him lay there till the sun washed over his body.  Her desire to repay him for what he did will be done one way or another.

"Yes, but I owe Victor a Favor. she smiled
"He is weak and needs to be replaced.  Allowing Carmilla to threaten him in calling a Blood Hunt upon me.  ME who at the time wasn't part of their vampire world.

Victor.. that bastard allowed this to happen to me because of his weakness.

What ever it was that Carmilla had over him, I will make sure I have something ten times worse. she smiled.

Stepping closer to Reginald "I just might have found something even worse than Carmilla her eyes looking him up and down again with a malicious smile.

 Reginald nodded. "Indeed you have. The Prince's crown is hollow, his power formed on allegiances forged by Milo. You asked what I can teach a newly made Kindred? I will show you the only power worth having.

 I abducted Milo in the shadow of the Prince's throne for a reason. Without Milo to hold things together, the very mention of my name will cause the Camarilla Elders to tear one another apart.

 Then, in the middle of the civil war, there will come a time when Victor will be alone. If you join me, then I will let you be the one to tear out his heart.

 Then, once the Sabbat have overthrown the Camarilla, we will return to the Crone's Coven and see if you and I together can restore what was taken from you. What do you say? Do you want to return to being a god among mortals?"

Nefertiti smiled to Reginald as she listened to his words.

"How does one such as us grow in Power? she asked.  You seemed to be very powerful indeed. allowing her eyes to scan over the sleeping servants.

"That alone was beyond anything I have ever witnessed.  Milo hasn't shown me a thing and here you offer all that you have without a favor.  You are truly a master of you kind.


When he mentioned about Elders she didn't know what he meant so she asked. Once he was ever so kind in explaining what an Elder is she smiled "I want to tear a few apart as well. 

Her hand raised when mentioning the Crone "I want nothing to do with that.

I want to have my own place of worshipers so that I may bask in the glory of escaping her claws.  a sparkle in her eyes shined ever so much when the thought crossed her mind.

She was already a Divine being, just needs to grow a bit stronger.

 "For Kindred, Knowledge is power. Knowing the Blood lets us use it. Knowing a person lets us use them. Knowledge of anything grants you power, so learn all that you can."

 He listened to Nefertiti speak and nodded silently before heading to a cupboard and pulling out a small wine glass. "You want to gather worshippers and become a goddess by your own hand? Then let me show you a different kind of magic."

 He placed a finger on his palm, producing a small cut which emptied a small volume of blood into the glass. "Kindred blood possesses the power to instill those types of emotions in humans. We call it the 'Viniculum'. With it, you will be able to grant your followers a small fraction of your power as well. The effects last only a few days so you'll need to reinforce it regularly but this is the easiest way to begin that journey."

 He offered the glass to her. "But don't just take my word for it. Sample it for yourself, learn firsthand what it feels like, otherwise you won't be able to understand your followers' motives or lead them properly."

Nefertiti looked at Reginald as his blood emptied into the glass, she knew a bit about Blood and if one was to get some of your blood they could use it as a source.  That was a main reason why she refused to freely give over some of her blood to Carmilla.  But here, he was offering his blood to one he just met freely.

"I do wish to make a connection with my followers stronger. she softly said "But I will first need to locate a place of worship and attract those kind of followers that would best suit my desires.

Her mind ran freely for a moment as she thought of the one follower she did have and how Carmilla stripped her of him.  Last she remembered was that he was killed for attacking a shelter.  "Are you able to bring the dead back to life? she asked.

"I once had someone but his mind was poisoned and he was killed.  I do miss him. she let out a sigh of sadness.

Then she took the glass and sipped from it allowing herself to experience what Reginald was speaking of.

 Reginald shook his head. "I am not. Oh what a potent weapon that would be though, to be able to promise those beneath my banner freedom from death. Still, there are a few options available if you do not mind a new mind in his old body."

 She took a drink and immediately felt a rush of emotion, affection, and power. She felt new knowledge swirling around, mingling within her blood. "I know of a place with dozens of mortals willing to worship you. My blood now runs within you and, as such, a fraction of my power. You will now be able to grant your magic to anyone with whom you share your blood.

 As I can do, now so can you."

Nefertiti was intoxicated by the rush of Power.

Her head spanned slightly as she had to regain her own focus on things around her "That is something I never experience and may never of had that chance if not for you. she said as she looked at him with a wider smile.

"That is a very special gift you have given me.  I will not just use it carelessly. she then looked around at the bodies.

"I will have to have to regain my composure later.  Will anyone be able to sense that we are linked?

 Reginald shook his head. "Not normally, no. It would require access to very special Blood Magic to do that. In any event, would you like to meet a group of potential worshippers?"

Nefertiti looked at Reginald with a smile "Do you spoil all your lady friends like this? then she giggled.  Having no idea what he is truly doing was the main question that was running through her mind.

Now was the time to see who these potential Worshipers were.  Only mattered if they were mortals and not those corrupted beings that she had to fight some weeks ago.  Her time will have to be careful here and she can only hope that she will be able to get closer to Milo to get him and herself out.

 Reginald smiled. "Not at all. You just happen to be special."

 He led Nefertiti back outside, had her blindfolded yet again, and began yet another drive.

 This time, when the blindfold came off, Nefertiti found herself in front of a damaged brick building. "Those inside know about us and about magic. They range from teenagers to old scholars, all of whom are curious about magic. Show them what you can do and I can assure that they will follow you."

Nefertiti smiled to Reginald when he called her special but that also could be something out of her understanding for he seemed to be much older than she would imagine and he surely was smart enough to outwit Milo and take him out right in front of Victor's so called secure place.

When he blindfolded her again she didn't resist but she did wonder where was he taking her and how far from where Milo's body is being kept.  That is something she is going to have to uncover and a deadly mystery that is.

As they were going she listened to the sounds of the surrounding buildings and was sure she could find the location of where they were leaving.  She didn't allow anyone to fully understand what Powers she possessed or what she was really capable of doing.  It is always best to allow one to assume that she is weak.

Once they were at this damaged building.

She listened to his words and it brought a smile to her beautiful face.

"Will I be doing this alone?  Or are you coming to watch over me? she asked seeing that these people will become her followers and she didn't wish to share their praises for she needed to gain their Faith.

She needed to show them that she was a Divine being.

 Reginald made a "shooing" motion with one hand. "I'm sure you have this. I'll be here if you need me though."

 As Nefertiti entered, she found herself in what seemed to be a book shop. Around her were shelves with books on all manner of arcane and occult matters. Inside were teenagers wearing black with chains and makeup along with a few older men. They all looked up as you entered.

Nefertiti didn't know what to expect and before she even entered into the building she allowed herself to shine.  Giving off an aura of AWE to those that would look upon her.

Her eyes scanned the room and when she discovered the place was a book store with many books of Arcane and the Occult, she smiled slightly at the thought of what she might be able to uncover in them as well.


"Good evening.

The night is young still and I would like to have time to speak with each and every one of you about yourself, your desires and determine what your capable of doing. she paused for a moment as her eyes looked over all before her.

"Is there any questions before we start this long enjoyable process? her lips curled "You may call me either Queen Nefertiti or Your Grace.

 The gathered mortals (there were 5 of them) looked up at her and stood, captivated by her presence. "THE Nefertiti? I was told we were meeting someone special but that hardly describes it adequately."

 The older, scholarly man made his way around the counter to meet you. He bowed. "It's an honor to meet you, Your Grace."

 The two teenagers wearing makeup and chains stood, impressed by her aura and unspeaking. Nefertiti surmised that they might be a couple.

 Another was an older woman with a dark complexion who stood from her cards. They had many images on them. <Orange>"The cards foretold a fateful meeting tonight."<Orange>

 The last was a blonde woman with pouches of gemstones. She likewise did not speak.

Nefertiti didn't quite understand a bit of the history that she missed but she did know who she was.

"I am she was her reply to the question about her name.

When the older scholar move to meet her she looked him up and down for a moment.

Who might you be? she asked him and then she looked to each asking the same question.  She wanted to get to know the names of these people.

OOC:  This may be a long process but there will be a lot of questions asked to them.  Do you wish to have them all in one stream or are you ok with it taking a few days.  She will not be able to get to them all on the first night with them but she will get their names and if they are skilled in any professions.

 "I am Steven Jameson, scholar of the arcane, at your service."

OOC: You can ask them in one stream of questions, but cut off part of them so we can stretch it over several nights.

Nefertiti looked at Steven closely as she moved around him, her eyes was surely doing something and he might of noticed a slight sparkling in them.  Her first thing was to see if she was able to sense if he had any magic within him.  It was good that she was capable of using her Prime Arcana to sense such things.

"Which Arcana are you skilled in Steven? she asked calmly.

Then she turned to look over everyone else that was present with her eyes, while this was active.

"What Skills make you shine? she said without even looking in his direction but watching those around.  Especially the lovers.

"You seem to be the elder here and surely you might of learned more then the others so it is good that you stepped forward first.

 Nefertiti looked but found that none of the people here actually possessed any real magic at all (even the woman who claimed to have seen your coming in the cards). Steven responded. "I have, unfortunately, still not met with any success with real magic yet. I've dedicated my life to its pursuit but it still eludes me."

 When the woman with the cards is asked. "I am an Oracle. I can divine the future in the cards."

 Nefertiti was reasonably sure that she probably couldn't as she could sense no magical power from her at all.

 The blonde woman with the gemstones smiled. "I focus on healing and expanding the mind through the use of gemstones and opening chakras."

 The two Goth lovers shrugged. The boy among them spoke. "I dunno, we just wanted to see if anyone here really knew real magic."

Queen Nefertiti stood there and listened to what all had to say, but she also wondered what did Reginald see in them and why did he pick these souls or even know that they would worship her.  One must be careful in such things for there can always be a thorn in a rose bush that might just prick you.

Looking to the blonde hair woman "You are a healer of some sort, right? she paused for a moment "Are you skilled in Medicine?

Then she turned to the two lovers, her head tilted slightly as she wasn't sure if they were two men or a man and a woman.  "And if someone did what would you want from them? her eyebrow arched "Do you two always dress in this fashion.

Then she walked over to the woman with the cards "Is it you or is it the spirits that tell the cards.  I do wonder.

Letting out a slight sigh "When your not here studying what do you do during the daytime?  I would like to know so that I may understand who you are and how to grant such a Divine blessing upon you. she smiled "Many would wonder what you did to gain it and some may hunt you down calling you a Witch.

 "I am a little. I've studied herbal medicines and remedies for many aliments."

 "We do. It's a part of us."

 When the other person wearing black spoke, Nefertiti could tell it was a girl. "If you really knew magic, we'd want to learn."

 "I would say that it is a bit of both, perhaps?"

 When asked about their day job, they responded:

 "I own this book store."

 "I'm a fortune teller."

 "I work at an herb shop."

 "We're students."

Nefertiti looked again at them all in wondered why them.

"I may be able to grant such a blessing to those that are Faithful to me and me alone.  I have the Divine power and as such.  she smiled "I need those that will follow my commands to the end.  Faithful Followers.

Moved a bit around the room perusing some of the titles of the books and as she was doing so she continued to speak to them "Are you willingly agreeing to serve me as your Goddess? she allowed that to sink in their minds.

"There will be many challenges and tests.  This will not happen overnight.  That is if some of you expect a Miracle that fast.

Then she turned to look each in the eyes. "Are you willing to give a few drops of your blood?

 The pale skinned boy chimed in. "You know, you're starting to sound a lot like my teachers. 'Do this, do that, apply yourself blah blah blah'. I haven't seen you do anything but talk. I'm out."

 He turned to the girl. "Let's bounce."

 She took his hand and started to leave. The herbalist woman crossed her arms. "Yeah, we were promised a goddess but I'm not convinced."

 The occultist and the fortune teller eyed one another but stayed quiet, waiting to see how Nefertiti would react.

Nefertiti doesn't say a word or do anything but allow those that don't wish to understand her blessing should leave.  She will not have time for spoiled brats or unwanted mortals that think the world should be given to them cause they say so.

She makes sure that those three leave and if Reginald had plans of feasting on them then so be it.  But once they were gone she looked to the remaining two.

"Do you wish to join them as well.  I am not here to be some show doll. she paused for a moment "I will not be commanded to do anything till I feel that one is worth of my blessing.

You may stay and learn and gain my gift.  Or you can leave.

 The two kids left. When the woman with the gems saw that there would be nothing further, she joined them. The fortune teller followed suit. The occultist remained, however, once the last of them left the building, he sighed. "Well, that was disappointing. Looks like I wasted my time and contacts gathering all these people together. You can go now."

Nefertiti looked at the man and in her eyes he could see that she was displeased by his response and he words of allowing her to go now.

"Do not take me as a weak moral. Old man.  I can take from you what you cherish the most.  You should remember who your speaking to.  I'm sure the one that told you to be here also told you that I am of the Divine nature.

At the tip of her finger was a flame of fire, flickering as to want to be loose in this shop.

"You all wish to gain my blessing but disrespect me.  Foolish.

as she turns to leave the place the flame leaps from her finger and lands right in front of the man.

When she exits the place she looks for Reginald.

 When Nefertiti exited the building, she initially did not see Reginald. It was only after she heard the sound of a phone going off that she located him. He had the phone to his ear. After a few moments of waiting, all he said was "Do not fret. I'll see to it that you are more than compensated for your loss."

 When she approached, Reginald shook his head. "Well, it seems you've managed to snag defeat from the jaws of victory in there. On top of it all, you managed to greatly upset the greatest cult recruiter in the city, who also happens to be one of my most trusted ghouls."

 He took a moment then smiled. "Oh well, on to Plan B. We'll return to my haven for now. I have some people I need to go speak to about restoring your apocalyptic form and getting you a new crop of potential followers..."

Nefertiti looked and when she heard the sound of a phone she moved over to Reginald, when he spoke she looked at him with a sadden expression.

"It seems that I will need to learn the ways of acquiring followers. she paused "I am not used to having the lesser beings demanding of my skills. then she looked back at the shop hmmmmm Glad I didn't set that shop on fire then. a slight smirk crossed her lips.

"How do you allow such beings demand your skills to service their minor needs? she asked and there was surely sincerity in her tone.  This was surely all new to her and she would need to learn and know how to mingle with the lesser beings.

She smiled back to him at the thought of potential followers.
"Less demanding I hope.

 Reginald listened to what Nefertiti had to say before motioning for her to get into the car. This time he didn't blindfold her, though the way back felt somewhat different than she had perceived through Auspex. "I will tell you a secret. If you learn nothing else from me, then learn this: It does not matter what sort of power you seek; physical, mental, social, or magical, and it does not matter how you go about obtaining it; deception, trust, or simple hard work.

 Those who have power command it. Those who will have power earn it. However, those who demand power will remain forever weak.

 Bear in mind that no one is an island unto themselves. No matter how much power you accumulate, you can do only so much alone. These 'Lesser Beings' as you call them will serve to fill your blind spots, serve in your absence, or cover any weakness you may find within you.

 To that end, what is the price for so much aid? A trifling demonstration of power? In the end, is that even a cost at all?"

 He stopped and led her to a run down building. This was not the same place he'd been taking her to. "Now, I have a task for you. I have had Milo brought to this location and I would like you to watch over him. My other guards all have their own needs to meet for tonight so it will just be you. I must go and negotiate with my peers over your second batch of followers. It should take no more than three hours in total."

 He handed her a key and made his way back to the car.

It was not Nefertiti's turn to listen to words of wisdom from Reginald.  His secret was interesting and now she will need to remember it and use it next time.  Just the fact that they wanted her to cast a spell, showing her Power cost something that is dearly to any Kindred. Vitae.  But she was sure that Reginald didn't fully understand her or the way her Powers worked.

Was any of them going to allow her to replenish the lost Vitae that she would of lost.  She doubted it.

She smiled when mentioning a task.
"You want little me to watch over him.  I'm not capable of something if he wakes. she replied.

Letting out a sigh she took the keys and watched as Reginald got into the car and drove off.

Turning around she looked at the building and wondered was this city all going to need a remaking.  How bad was that Storm that woken her from her rest.

Walking to the building she used the key to unlock the door and then she moved inside, slowly allowing her Heighten Senses to listen closely for any sounds that may guide her.  If none, then she took the time to peruse around the place making sure she knew the layout of the building as best as she can.

Also seeing which room Milo was being kept in.

 The building itself was abandoned. It was outfitted with some security (Nefertiti had seen Noah use similar things) but a simple turn of a key seemed to deactivate most of them.

 The building was spartan, containing only furniture. Nefertiti found Milo in a back room with handcuffs and a stake still in his chest. (It took perhaps 30 minutes to look around and learn the layout of the building).

Things didn't look to be too much out of place but she didn't like the fact that Reginald was surely testing her loyalty and she remembered the things he told her about what he is capable of doing.

Surely one such as himself would want for her to try to escape with the body of Milo but one never knows what or whom might be transferred into it.  She looked at it and smiled for a moment as she then walked up to the body and allowed herself to cut a small part of his arm.  Making some blood flow out and she lowered her finger down to touch it.  If Milo she lowered her mouth to savor that flavor of what Milo might have to offer her, just as Reginald did.

It would also grant her a bit of information as to if it was really Milo.  As her spell took shape after drinking some of his blood, then if she discovered it was truly Milo, she would sample his blood for the ecstasy.

 After roughly three hours, Reginald returned in a van. When he opened the back, out filed an assortment of men and women, 12 in total, who followed him inside. They shuffled when they walked and their eyes seemed to be a bit vacant.

 As they formed rank behind Reginald, he looked at Nefertiti and smiled as he mage a grand sweeping gesture toward her. "Behold! Lady Nefertiti, your new queen and goddess!"

 In unison, the slack-jawed group prostrated themselves before her. Reginald nodded in satisfaction as he approached, speaking in a voice low enough that only she could hear. "These are those who bore witness to the Infrastructure but could not handle what they saw. Their minds are damaged, but they are docile and quite obedient."

 He continued in his normal voice. "Now, I promised you another gift, did I not?"

 He took Nefertiti into a another room, leaving her new followers face down on the floor, and retrieved the same chalice she'd drunk from earlier. He bit open his wrist and poured yet more blood into it before waving his hand over it. It began to take shape. "Tell me more about the (apocalyptic) form that was stolen from you."

 And, as Nefertiti gave her description, the flowing blood assumed that shape until it had been recreated to her liking. "Now drink, and your power will be restored."

Nefertiti looked at the people that were before her and she also knew that they might not be able to hold what she might be able to gift them with so she now knows that she will need to mend their minds.

She smiled to Reginald and graciously thanked him for the followers.  The ruse must continue and she must uncover a way of getting herself and Milo out of this prison.  But how?

When asked to follow she did and she watched what all Reginald was doing.  The power that he was using was beyond her limits and for him to be able to give her back her form was something she never knew he was capable of.  She looked at the blood and watched its transformation.

"What is this your doing to the blood?  It is marvelous. she said as she took hold of the glass.

Looking into the chalice she wondered what was going to happen to her.  But only time will tell as she drank from the chalice.

 Reginald smiled as he offered her the chalice. "Nothing all that significant. I met with an acquaintance of mine and mixed a touch of Fallen power with my own blood magic. It should be similar enough to your divinity to 'take' within your form."

 Nefertiti felt a rush of euphoria and a surge of power as the spell took hold. It felt strange in her body, almost foreign, but she could now sense the presence of her alternate form.

 When she was finished, Reginald washed the chalice and put it away. "Alright. You now should have access to most, if not all of the powers that this world has stripped of you, yes? You have minions and the beginning of your power base.

 I will grant you this building as the site upon which you shall build your church and dominion over your former sire. The groundwork has now been laid. Soon Victor will perish and you shall sit upon his throne instead.

 For now, though, it is getting on towards the morning so I shall retire. I have other matters that will be requiring my attention for the next few nights, so I look forward to seeing what you accomplish with your powers restored."

 And, with that, Reginald took his leave of her. The worshippers he'd brought remained remained prostrate, vacantly moaning out incoherent prayers and drooling slightly.

Nefertiti didn't use her alternate form as of yet, she wanted to enjoy the euphoria for just a bit longer and the surge of Power.  Power was something she been searching to gain and now she has acquire a bit more than what she had just a few days ago.

She listened to what Reginald had to say and smiled back to him as she watched him wash the chalice and put it away.

When granted this building she allowed her mind to race over the layout and think of the right place for her to rest for the day.  Otherwise she would need to find a place before the day is upon her.

When Reginald left she walked to the room where the worshipers were faced down. "You may get up.  Tell me your names and what would you like to gain from me? she calmly said as she watched each one and wanted to determine if they were capable of being strong followers or mindless servants.

 The minions stood as they were told but, when asked a question, they simply made incoherent gurgling noises that almost resembled speech one after another. Once finished "speaking", they remained standing there, slack-jawed and slightly drooling.

Nefertiti looked at them and taking noticed of their present condition she wondered what was Reginald thinking. Only suitable followers for her was mindless vessels. she thought for a moment then she had very little to do for the sun would be up sooner than she needed.

"Rest here while I go and sleep. she said.

Taking a moment to wonder did Reginald leave Milo's body here with her.

 When Nefertiti awoke the next evening, her followers remained in the room she'd left them in. There were the remains of breakfast nearby so they seemed to be at least able to take are of their basic needs.

Nefertiti had advanced in learning some things from Reginald but she didn't allow him to fully understand how advance her own capability was in discovering ways of healing the body of not just herself but of others.  Even for a moment it was something that she wasn't capable of some months ago.

Now that she was in this place with a body that was Milo but she haven't learned the way of discovering if it was Milo's soul/mind in there.  The blood did give her some insight but still she needed to uncover more before she takes the body away.

But now she noticed that the twelve minions, and she thinks of that only cause they are mindless and not full capable of grasping what she wants in a follower.

She took the time to get to know each and every one of them intimately.  Taking one at a time to a room where she wanted to uncover more about who they were and what they were before their mind was destroyed.

While in the room with each one separately.  She had to take care time in re-healing their mind.  It would be a timely process but after 8 minutes she was sure she would be successful in healing the Brain of each one while she was in the room.

Once in the room she would speak to them to find out more about each..

Their name, their skill, what did they expect when they were with Reginald and What do they expect from her?

Now with their mind healed they could speak and she would get some answers.

But the sad thing is that they would return back to their minion state.

After speaking with each one she would say "Extend your wrist so that I may drink" she drank only 3 points of Vitae from the first.

 Nefertiti took her first follower into a separate room and took great care to mend his brain. She was certain that it worked but, when she spoke to him, she found that his answers were still incoherent. It seemed that it was not physical damage to her minions' brains that was the problem so much that it was the mental trauma of seeing something so far outside of their depth.

 However, he did as he was asked and extended his arm for her to drink and made no move to recoil as she fed from him.

Nefertiti looked at the man in sheer sorrow for she wasn't able to mend the damage done to his mind.  This could only mean that at the moment these minions are just that...

Minions - Servants.

They would not be what she needs to gain followers from, she felt pity for them and wondered what could she do to help mind the mental trauma they are dealing with.

She wanted to test something and cut her finger slightly allowing a bit of blood to flow.

"Drink she said to the man.  Now she wanted to see if her Divine being was able to help heal any of the Trauma.

"Do you understand why your here? she ask.  Holding up her hand "Don't speak but shake or nod your head. she thought of taking a more simpler route in communication between them.

 The man did as he was asked and his eyes briefly rolled back in his head from the experience. When asked the question and given instructions, he paused for a moment before nodding his head.

Nefertiti watched as the man felt the blood rush taking over his body and mind. She wasn’t in any rush but she knew that this one will be her first test subject and seeing if her blood is able to grant his mind some sort of relief from the trauma that Reginald put him through.

She also new that there was many other gifts that she could try to learn to help these poor souls. Yes something that she herself has lost.

“You may return with the others. I need a moment alone she said and watched how he acted afterwards. Was there any difference in his moment his mannerism.

Once he was gone she moved to the room where Milo’s body was and she looked at it for a bit.  Then she smiled.

“Sariel are you busy her thoughts would be safe for now.

After a moment of private thoughts she walked into the room with the mindless followers and looked over at the one who had tasted her Divine Blood.

She had a few nights before Reginald would return and she had to grow within herself more.

 Nefertiti's minions all seemed quite docile and content to do nothing until she walked into the room. In the absence of any instruction, they all began to gradually supplicate themselves before her. There they began idle worship and Nefertiti could feel the faintest spark of her power deep inside.

As Nefertiti stood there and they moved to idle worshiping her, there was a wave of some energy that she could sense only deep within herself.  This effect brought a smile to her beautiful face.

She looked around the place and thought for a moment.
"IF this is going to be our place to worship, we should make it look as pleasing as possible for others to join. seh calmly said.

"I hope you all had plenty of rest when I was resting.  Shall we make our new home more inviting.  Lets start cleaning what we can and later we can get some of those Synthetics to help rebuild the walls like they are doing in other parts of the city. she spoke those words hoping that they were able to do some of the work around here with cleaning up.  She didn't expect them to be able to rebuild the walls or fix any loose pipes but simple things can be done for now.

Looking at them she then picked a female this time to come into a room so that she might give her some of her Vitae to drink and feed off her as well for the day.  Knowing that she will need to do this to each and every one so that they would be more Enthralled into her.  Soon she will be giving them what they need and as they are giving her what she need.

 The minions looked at her placidly until she mentioned "synthetics". The moment she did, the entire group erupted into a chorus of panicked howls as they clenched their eyes shut and grasped their heads.

 They curled into the fetal position and began to rock and sway as the screaming continued.

Nefertiti was surprised at their reaction and it almost brought her into a rage against whatever did this to them.  Her new Followers were damaged but how severe.  What would it take for her to correct this damage to her minions.

Allowing her own AWE to flow outward and she spoke "Relax my dear.  You are safe here with me.  I will make sure that none will come near you.  Hear my words, you are SAFE. she spoke softly and clearly in hope that she was able to calm some of their traumatic experience.

She walked to them each running her hand over their heads or shoulders to calm them even more.

This was now a word she would not be able to use so freely around them and she will surely encounter more things that will set them off but for now she only could try to sooth their minds and reassure them that they were safe here with her.  She was now their Goddess and if a Goddess can't keep her followers safe then she would surely loose favor and become a old withered crone, like a being she refused to think of.

 The men and women calmed themselves as she comforted them and, after a few minutes, they had ceased completely and had prostrated themselves before her once again. When they all had calmed down sufficiently, they set about the tasks to which she had set them, cleaning the building she had been given.

With them now in a calmer state and they start doing the chores set out, she takes one of the females to the back room to give her some Vitae.  From then she takes her out and brings back one other to drink from her finger and savor the Vitae she offers.

Doing this so that five would be done, plus the man from yesterday.  Total of six Enthralled for now.

In an hours time she then moved to Milo's body and search the clothing seeing what all she could find.

 Nefertiti managed to fairly easily enthrall her minions but they showed little in the way of reaction to it.

 Milo's clothing produced little of value. Nearly everything except his clothes themselves had already been taken. However, Nefertiti noticed that his hands had been bound behind his back.

Nefertiti wasn't skilled in combat, it wasn't something that a female would be allowed to learn or understand in the times of her youth.  She looked at it and then let it be for it meant nothing to her.

The mystery was why did Reginald leave the body here and was it all a trap for her and those that she knew.  What did Reginald place inside this body or who did he place inside it.  This was something that Micheal would be more skilled at understanding but she had no way of reaching out to him or even knowing if he is alive.

She don't trust Victor.  Can't stand that dragon.  Mistral even treated her as if she was the enemy.  Sal is a fool and Fate was way to young to comprehend a way of dealing with this.

There was a moment of silence as her mind had to build up the strength to do what she was about to do.

"Talion.  Where are you?  I know you can hear my words. she said knowing that he would hear his name being a God but would he make an entrance or a dramatic scene.

 Nefertiti waited for an answer but she was met with only silence. Talion did not answer her when she called.

Nefertiti looked at the image of Sariel with a nod of her head. "That is a great amount of information and I will not rush in healing their minds but to slowly help them deal with the trauma that they experienced

Then she looked at the body before her "I will need a moment to mediated.  Thank you for checking in on me.

Nefertiti laughed at the comment.  "You are truly a mystery, Sariel. she said aloud then she moved out of the room where the body of Milo has been placed but it seemed that she wasn't really set on watching it anymore for Reginald only requested for her to watch it that one time.  Now its just staying here for storage or to be out of his way when someone comes looking for it.

She looked out a window to see if there as any of those special fruits growing anywhere near.  If not, then she knew where she could get a few back at the areas around Milo's estate.  She was planning on giving her followers a few pieces of the fruit to help them all regain some strength.

If there is fruit near she will go get some, if not then she will teleport to the outskirts of where she found some near Milo's estate.  Then teleport back.

 There were no fruits around the lair Reginald had given her (though there were patches of the vines. It seemed as though someone had been harvesting and cultivating them). It also occurred to her that there may be people around the collapsed building that was Milo's home (he did do a lot of business).

 Teleporting to a secluded spot confirmed this. It was also likely that there were more eyes that she would not be able to see.

OOC: Is there still some fruits around that she is able to grab?

OOC: No. Not nearby. You'll need Dexterity + Stealth or Obsfucation to get to them without being noticed.

Nefertiti didn't like the feeling of so many eyes watching her movement and she surely couldn't see those hiding in the shadows so well.

One moment she stood there then the next she vanished.

Returning back to the abandon building of Reginald.

"That didn't go as planned. she said to herself.

Walking out to the room with the followers "Do any of you know where some of those strange fruits are growing?  Just nod your head if you understand.

 Her new minions stared at her slack-jawed for a few moments before each nodded in turn. Almost in unison, they began chanting something. It likely wasn't another language for she understood all of them. She wasn't entirely sure what it was.

 They then began to file out of the building, scattering in different directions as they left.

 After a few hours, Nefertiti's minions returned. Come came bearing apples, some came bearing oranges and bananas, one returned with a watermelon, and a few returned with cans of fruit cocktail.

 However, a few came back with the fist-sized bread fruits and Nefertiti ended up with three in total.

Michael followed the woman to a building. Surely whoever was controlling them would be inside as it seemed like it was some sort of manipulation. A quick peek into one of the windows should help give him more information. He was more than surprised to see Nef was the one they were bringing food to. There certainly seemed to be a lot of them. He used his enhanced senses to peer inside the room and look for any magical symbols that would have been hidden away from normal sight. For all he knew, Nef could have been trapped inside this building with servants bringing her food to stay alive.

Michael decided that he could approach carefully since it seemed Nef was in charge. He descended to ground level and the front door. He opened it and placed a hand on the pommel of Excalibur keeping it sheathed but looking warily at the zombie like people in the room. His spectral angelic wings spread out in a display of them not to come near. “Hey Nef. Long time no see. Not trying to be rude upon entering, but what is going on with these people?”

Nefertiti was surprised but the look upon her face was a sheer joy. Then her eyes looked around and out the window “Come in quickly and drop that. I’m sure we are being watched. She moved to take his hand then a tightly embrace once he was inside and less eyes could fall upon them. “The Gods heard my plea and brought you here. he could feel that she didn’t want to release his hand once she was next to him.

She made sure that the followers kept their distance from him and allow him to speak with her in private.

“Their minds are damaged by the horror they witnessed and it’s going to take time for me to heal that. But it is good to see you. she looked at him and wondered if he was able to aid her with the  dilemma of Milo.

Michael smiled and gave her a big hug with his wings wrapping around her. “It’s good to see you too. I’m sorry to hear that they have witnessed such a horror. Are you referring to the massacre by Dracula? I’m also curious as to your comment about the gods bribing me here. Are you in trouble?”

It seemed that their embrace was a bit longer than normal but she finally released her hold upon him as his wings unwrapped around her delicate form.

She looked up to him with a sadden expression “If it was only that simple. I don’t think many would be prepared for what they went through. My host is testing me in more ways than one. she allowed that to sink in. “From my understanding they witnessed a ritual.

Then she gave him a soft smile “Trouble. ……. Me

Taking his hand she lead him “What your about to see is what I prayed that you might be able to help me with. she stopped and looked at him “Stay calm at what your about to see. I didn’t know about it till recent knowledge was shared to me.  The body is only sleeping but I don’t believe it is whom it’s should be. then she opens the door where Milo body was sleeping.

She stood next to the body looking down at it

“It seems that my new kindred fellows don’t die when staked but places into a sleeping coma. But I’m sure you already knew this.

Michael didn’t mind the extended embrace but was slightly confused by her cryptic response. He allowed himself to be led into the other room. To see the body of Milo staked in the room certainly was a surprise. Her explanation was even more so. The priest held his sacred rosary with his other hand as he cautiously approached the body. “I’m sure you know that I will have several questions at this point. First, who is your host? How did Milo get here and who staked him? Are you saying this isn’t Milo? What tests are you doing?”Using his enhanced vision he scans the body for the physical and spiritual auras that Reginald’s mark would leave.

Nefertiti knew that this was going to be a shocker for Michael but she knew that he was more focused on the right thing to do then quickly jump into battle and cause more damage upon the group.

She looked up to him "That is more than several.  But I can speak of them but not sure how much time I have or who is watching this place. she stopped and looked at him for a moment.  "How did you find me here? she asked to make sure it was reasonable. She needed to make sure to be able that no other comes to this place so quickly.

"The host is the one who did this to him.  His name is Reginald. she said.  "The body may be his but I'm not sure if the soul or essence is his in this body.  Reginald showed me a Ritual of his about transferring body and souls.  And I feel that he took Milo's out of here and replaced it with one of his own agents. she sighed.

"It seems that the beings of this time are more powerful than I could imagine and he may see me as a fly on the wall.  Not a challenge so he didn't worry about me.  He was also telling me about the different aspects of the Kindred society.  That the Camerilla is not the only sect and that the Sabbat and others are out there. tilting of her head "I assumed he was recruiting me to join his.

Looking at Michael "That is the test.  I think he was testing if I would remove the stake and take Milo out of here. But it may not truly be Milo I'm taking.  A spy to tell of our plans. turning to look at Milo.  "I knew nothing about this lifestyle and when we were attacked I came to make sure that Milo wasn't killed.  But discovered that having a stake in your heart only puts you in a coma state.

Turning to Michael "I don't want the others to know of this.

They are reckless and don't plan things. Attack before getting information on who they are attacking.  I have been a pawn in one of those and it has left a nasty taste in my mouth.

Michael sighed as he listened and moved the body to check for marks. He shook his head and stood up. “Yep. It’s Reginald’s work alright. I can see his blood mark on the wall that has bled some onto the back of the body’s jacket. Sal and I had a little chat with his former teacher. That’s how I know about the marks and what he’s supposedly capable of. He marks locations for transportation and bodies for soul swapping. I’m going to say you’re probably right about somebody else besides Milo is inside that body right now. Unfortunately, there’s not much I can do without having his soul in my possession. A body without a soul dies. If I could force his soul back into his body then I could exorcise the other soul out.”

The priest placed his hand on her cheek with concerned eyes. “If it was anybody but Milo then I wouldn’t be as worried. That massacre that just happened was because Hunters threatened Milo’s life. Can you imagine the death and destruction of his father found out his soul was stolen? He might kill you just for being a pawn for Reginald. If it was just a battle of one on one between Dracula and myself, then I might possibly stand a chance, but he has a whole army at his call. I wouldn’t be able to protect you.”

He let his hand fall and leaned against a wall in thought before continuing. “Sal and I are investigating Reginald’s whereabouts including locations and people he has tagged with the blood marks. That’s why I’m running around in Archangel mode in case I ran into him. I followed one of your people here. Sal doesn’t know where I am yet, but it won’t be long until he does or I have to check in. I agree that the others will not react well to this especially Sal. The problem is that they will find out eventually. His body will need to be secured in a locked metal coffin until we can collect his soul. I’ve shielded my mind and soul as best I can from manipulation to prevent it from happening to me. Do you plan on staying here as his guest? What do you plan to do?”

Nefertiti was glad to hear that Michael confirmed her suppression about having another Soul in Milo's body. But she didn't know where Reginald might of placed Milo's soul.  Which one of the servants in his cabal.  Surely it would be one he has locked up somewhere.  If she was able to get inside the place and search for someone locked up then they might have a chance of finding where Milo's soul is.

Then she raised an eyebrow when he mentioned Dracula might kill her for being a pawn. "Well that could happen but then again he might show some mercy on his adopted grandchild. she gave a slight sheepish grin.  "The body is being kept safe with my grace so that should count to some degree.

When asked about staying she looked at the door where it would lead to the people outside in the other room "I will stay here as long as I can and hope that I can heal their minds from the damaged they witnessed. she replied.  "Sal must not come here for he would only cause drama to the situation.  He is not able to contain his emotions. she turned to look at Michael "Reginald don't wish to kill Milo but to cause havoc among the Elders.  It seems that Victor relies on Milo's contacts more than his own.  I do wonder why he she looks at the body. is not the Prince of this city then.

"There will be no need to place the body in a metal coffin as long as that stake remains in his heart. she said with a sadden expression upon her face.  "I don't know how to remove that soul.  I called out for Talion but he didn't reply.  I'm wondering why or where is he. she paused for a moment "You do know that he is a God?

Michael considered the information and the requests made by Nefertiti. “I knew he was a god. He may still be mourning the loss of his children after the attack that destroyed the island.”

The priest walked over to the body and checked out the stake to see that it was properly in place and if it was made of wood that would degrade over time. “You do understand that not telling Sal is putting me in a very tough spot. I will accept your request if you can convince me of a plan involving Milo’s body and soul going forward. Are you beholden to this particular place? Can you not relocate yourself and the people out there to a different building? That way I can bring Sal here to collect Milo’s body without involving you. What are your future plans with Reginald?”

Nefertiti sighed at the questions  "My only plan is to not loose Milo's body till I am able to discover a way of making sure it don't contain a false soul.  It seems that many like to place false souls into the vessels. she only thought of herself and Milo but surely it has been done many many more times.

"Do remember how they reacted so hastily when I was offered help to deal with a kindred.  I was hoping to plan a way of getting closer to her, but they seemed to summon her without knowing the whole situation.

Which in returned ended out horrible and the lost of so many things. her mind wondered off for a moment as she remembered that ghastly night.

"Reginald don't see me as a threat and wants to recruit me into his faction.  So for now I don't foresee any danger. And no, I'm not bound to this building but I don't know of this city and to find another place would be dangerous for me to be seen moving about.

There are many eyes still watching for my appearance.  Be it Reginald, Dracula or even Victors.  I was seen last with Milo.

Just then Michael received a voicemail from Sal. He had apparently put his slate on silent when he was following the woman. He typed a message back to Sal. It would seem a decision had to be made. “Look Nef. I get it. I understand why you want to keep the others out. Unfortunately, this involves Milo which has to be dealt with by more than just you and me alone since it involves Reginald. There are only three options here: 1) I take Milo’s body with me to Sal, 2) I bring Sal here with you here, and 3) I bring Sal here with you gone. I was hoping you had a better plan, but we can’t just wait around to see what happens. The choice is yours.”It was clear he didn’t particularly like most of those options, but he was trying to be loyal to both Nef and his Cabal.

Nefertiti's eyebrow arched slightly.  There was very little she could reply to but she looked at the body then back to Michael "You may take the body.  Do not inform anyone of the location of where you found it.  Can I have your word on that? she knew Michael to be a man of his word and if he didn't inform them of the location then the ones out front will not be in danger.

"You will be fully responsible for any damages that follow once you take the body away.  My plan of getting more information out of Reginald is best.  It is not something we can risk and rushing into things is Chaotic.  You of all was the one I thought would understand. she paused.

"Yes many are out there looking for Milo but you know now that he is safe.  If you take him and someone removes that she gazed at the stake hastily.  There will be no way of stopping any damages that follow, if what I believe is true. she sighed "Someone will show power and believed to be out ranking your warning.

She placed a hand upon his shoulder "Just be careful my dear Michael.  I cherish you deeply and wish no harm to befall upon you  or the Cabal. there was a moment when her eyes looked up as she thought of Noah but still she didn't wish any harm to befallen upon him.  Not the kind that will come from Reginald.

Michael gave Nefertiti a half smile. “Even if you hadn’t asked me to, I wouldn’t have told them about your location. You have my word. I do understand what you are trying to do and where you are coming from. If not for the past between you and the others, it is possible that they would have left the body here and observed as you tried to get information. Also, if it had been anybody but Milo I wouldn’t care, but the devastation his father wrought last time makes me hesitant to leave him be. Reginald will ask why the body is gone. You can tell him that a hunter took the body from you which is the truth.”

Michael removed the blood stained shirt from the body and picked Milo’s body up. “I will do my best to convince the others to leave the stake in. I will be careful. Please stay safe as you are important to me as well. Here’s my number if you need to contact me. I hope I can receive updates on your progress with Reginald.”The priest gave her the number to his slate. The body’s chest and face was covered with a cloth as he left to make his way to the alleyway as quickly as he could without jostling the body too much.

Nefertiti gave Michael a warming smile when he offered not to reveal her location. "Micheal you mentioned earlier about meeting Reginald's teacher.  Is it possible that you can introduce me to him somehow?  He can help me in learning what I want. she asked hoping that it would be possible.  There is a lot at stake and she is still just learning how to overcome some of Reginald's tricks.

Taking his number she was given and still she didn't have a phone of her owns for Milo was about to take her to get one.  But she knew that she could get one later or find some one who does have one.  The city seemed to be coming back to life after the visit of Dracula.

As Michael left she watched him leave and then she went to the room to see the followers.

 Once Michael left, Nefertiti was once left alone with her servants... for about an hour. At that point, Reginald returned. He greeted Nefertiti warmly. "Greetings. I hope you've had an eventful day?"

 While speaking, he headed to the room where Milo had once been. There he turned to her and smiled. "Excellent work, Nefertiti. We'll make a Sabbat out of you yet."

During her hour time she kept a watching eye on her subject.

Nefertiti turned to see Reginald, with a warming smile she replied "Greeting to you as well.  The evening has been somewhat eventful.  Not that I would want too much drama with them around. she gazed at her followers.

"A hunter came and took his body. she replied. "Did you want the body to be taken? with a confused look upon her face.

"Their minds will take a lot of time to heal but I believe I will be able to do that.  Thank you for them, it will be something I will look forward in doing.  Now that time is nothing but a word to me. a slight smile came to her lips.

"And how have you been these past evenings? she took a step in his direction "Causing some havoc amongst the Elders.  Especially Victor

 Reginald stroked his chin. "A Hunter, hmm? Considering that you and your followers are unharmed, I assume that he is a friend of yours. Hunters are very dangerous company to keep. You can never tell when they'll turn on you.

 Anyway, of course I wanted the body taken. Of course, it's not ideal that they know my little secret."

 He gazed at the bloodstain on the wall. "But my plans are served by his rescue either way.

 In any event, it is good that you now have others to invest yourself in. I'm certain that, if you manage to heal them, they will make for followers of great potency in time.

 My evenings have gone quite well. I have managed to create sympathizers among quite a few members of the Camarilla. It is only a matter of time before the Camarilla cannibalizes itself out of paranoia."

 Reginald smiled and turned to look out the window. "Now, my dear. It is time to meet some of your future subjects."

 He headed out the door to a nice car (not a van) and gestured with a flourish and a grin. "Your chariot awaits."

She smiled to him as he tells that the Elders are going to pay.  She will never forget how they were all eager to Blood Hunt her just for the sake of Camilla wanting her Divine Power.  Something she will never forget or forgive.

Nefertiti stood there as she expected to be blindfolded as normal.  But as she waited and nothing happened she smiled to Reginald.

"I look forward in meeting them. she smiled as she moved to the nice car waiting outside.

Has he already captured some of the city Elders and plan on torturing them.  She can only hope to be able to watch.

 Reginald drove her to a warehouse and parked the car, stepping out to open the door for her and handing her a mask that covered the upper half of her face. He himself donned a similar mask.

 Hers was adorned with gold and glitter while his was plain white. (had she been a little less ancient, she would have noted that it was the upper halves of Tragedy and Comedy spliced together) "This is a masquerade... not the facade of the Camarilla, but a true Masquerade. Trying to pry into someone's identity here is considered rude and revealing one's identity here is an insult. If you fail here and they attack, I will not assist you. It is important to learn the ways of Kindred should you ever wish to lead them. Consider this a "trial by fire", so to speak.

 That said, it's always fun to guess. Just keep your guesses to yourself and do not mention what you see here. If you wish to gain power and influence, you need to be able to keep a secret and you need to be sure that others will keep yours. Once we are inside, seperate from me. There are many activities that will keep you entertained.

 Enjoy yourself and make acquaintances but keep your tongue on a tight leash. For tonight, you shall be known as Reine and I as Pandora. Any questions?"

Nefertiti looked out the window as he drove to a new place.  She had no idea where she was or where he was taking her but when the car stopped she looked at the building.

She placed the mask on and smiled as her lower portion of her face was showing. "I'm new in town and not that many have met me so I think I may be low on many list. she smiled to him.

"Would using my Powers inside be considered bad? for she knew that she had the means to know anyone there but it would be very risky.

"Oh Pandora, such a sweet name for Chaos. she waited for a reply about using powers and then she was ready to enter into the warehouse.

 Reginald chuckled. "Using powers upon other guests is likewise looked down upon. I'm not going to tell you not to. Just be aware that, if they find out, that you have effectively given them permission to do the same to you... and what I said earlier applies here. If you break decorum and one of them dominates you, I won't interfere. If you're going to be devious, then you need to learn to be covert about it."

 He headed to the door and they were let inside. Unlike the last party she went to, the Kindred here were not hiding that they were vampires. Even though they kept up their masks, they fed openly.

Nefertiti smiled to Reginald's reply.  She never thought of herself as being devious but she never thought herself as becoming a Vampire with a Divine status.  So many changes in her life and so many more will occur she is sure of but for now she will have to play the part of being a sweet newbie in town.

"Understood. was all she said as they walked inside.

Her eyes gazed around at what was happening so openly, something that didn't quite bond well with her and she was pleased that she has already had her evening meal from her followers.  Her own little herd has been quite useful in more ways than one.

Nefertiti moved around the warehouse taking in all that she could and she left the side of Pandora moments ago.  Now she wanted to get a better feel of how the members of the Sabbat were and who she might find useful as allies.

 True o his word, this was a masquerade ball. No one was without a mask, but no one pretended to be human either. Unlike the Camarilla, the Sabbat dispensed with the veneer of humanity and embraced their nature.

 It was surprising how well a simple mask concealed one's identity. She could not tell who anyone was and quickly lost track of Reginald. The band played and many kindred danced (some with the very humans that they fed upon). All were dressed nicely.

 "Enjoying your evening?"

 A young kindred approached from behind. He was well groomed and well dressed.

Nefertiti found a nice spot to stand and watch all that was happening, she needed to find out more of how this Sabbat would impact her new life and she also needed to make sure that she was able to avoid the members of the Camarilla to discover her looking into joining a new Sect.

She watched as many danced but it seemed that she was surely out of place and not knowing these dance steps.  Letting out a soft sigh as she can now remember she needs to learn a lot of things.  As her mind was dreaming of how she was to learn, a voice brought her back out of her thoughts.

Turning to face the gentleman "Good evening to you as well.  Such a lovely one it is. she replied.

 The vampire (for he was not hiding that he was one) simply smiled. "You look uncomfortable. I can understand that... but pretending to be something you're not wears on you. It may not look pretty, but reality seldom does."

 Looking at him, he was holding a glass of what seemed to be wine at first but, upon closer inspection, was most definitely not. He took a deep drink but kept his eyes on the party. "Do you dance?"

Nefertiti turned to look at the man "Uncomfortable? she replied.

"No, I just feel out of place.  Not really my kind of thing and I must admit that this is not the sort of dancing I'm familiar with. then she smiled to him allowing her own fangs to show.

"I'm new in town.  Seeing what sort of parties you have here.
she said as she looked out at the people dancing.  She watched closely and wondered if she was able to learn it.

 The man offered a touch of a smile then offered her his hand. "Well then, would you like to give it a try?"

Nefertiti’s smile did linger as she gently took the man’s hand and allowed him yo lead them to the dance floor. “One must learn to enjoy and learn all that is placed before them. she softly said as her mind was remembering a recent conversation with Sariel.

“I’m Reine

 The man touched the black feathered mask upon his face with a finger. "Poe."

 He took her hand and began going through the motions of dancing. She stumbled at first but he quickly caught and corrected her movement. It took her roughly 5 minutes to pick up the steps and, by the time the second musical piece was done, she had managed to learn well enough not to embarrass herself.

Nefertiti repeated the name "Poe as she nods her head.

As they are out on the floor she tried to make herself look as elegant as possible without too many mishaps.  The way that they were moving was a style and rhythm that she was unaccustomed of knowing.  Once she was able to get things under her knowledge she was pleased and continued to dance with Poe.

"What is this dance called? If you don't mind she asked as she was being spun around ever now and then.

"This is my first masquerade party I been to in years.  But the first of this kind.  Do they have them often? she asked as she looked around once to see how many vampires might be here and if any looked striking to meet with.

 "This is a Waltz. It has been out of style for quite a while, but it remains one of the most elegant dances mankind has ever developed. Masquerade balls happen occasionally but this is the first Masquerade ball of this kind to happen in a few centuries."


 There were many kindred around with which to meet if you wished to leave Poe, but they were all engaged in activities of some kind or another (viewing art, drinking, or having a chat in a small circle). There were some wallflowers, but most were engaged in the party.

Nefertiti nodded her head when she was given the name of the dance.  "I will have to make sure I get a chance to learn more from you.  It seems that you miss the old days. she smiled.

"May I ask what is the reasoning for this ball?  This is my first one.

 Poe smiled when the dance was finished and he led her off the floor. "The idea here is to relax and be yourself. The masks are to let you do that without social repurcussions."

Nefertiti listened and then wondered more about this mystery man that came to sweep her off her feet for a dance.

"Would you be different toward me if we met outside of this ball? she smiled "If so, that would be such a shame for I might not of learned this wonderful dance. she held still onto his arm.

"There are a lot of people out tonight for this grand gala?  I do hope that there will be more

I don't have to wait centuries to dance with you again.

 Poe became somewhat solemn at the mention of being outside the ball. "I suppose it depends on the masks we wear. This ball is the closest thing many of us have had to be ourselves and simply enjoy our unlives in centuries.

 I too hope there will be more balls like this in the future, for I would very much like to dance with you again."

 However, with that, he took a bow and took his leave. It seemed that mention of what was outside the ball was taboo.

Nefertiti's eyebrow arched slightly as Poe gracefully leaves her standing there alone.  She now understood that mentioning anything outside of this event was forbidden and may cause some sort of alienate yourself from others.

She then started to walk around the place again, but this time she was more interested in those that were being drained of their blood and possibly their lives.  It felt a bit odd to watch it done so freely or that there is no artificial blood being offered.  It seemed that the city was starting to regain its status in population and more humans will be there for the plundering.  She had been given 12 to be followers, so they were now her property and under her care.

She knew she would need more and if any of those that was left here could become saved.

Moving about she looked for any females Kindred that might catch her attention.

 As Nefertiti looked, she noted that nearly all of the humans being fed upon bore the same symbols of the cult that the other 12 had belonged to. Further, no matter how much was taken, the cultists did not seem to die from it.

 There were several females among the Kindred at the ball. Some were feeding. Some were dancing. Some were making conversation, but all were engaged in the event in some form.

Nefertiti was peeked to see that the humans didn't die no matter how much blood was taken from them.  Was this something that the followers in her herd possessed as well.  She didn't want to risk killing any of them so that test will have to wait.

This ball was very interesting even though she knew no one here she did want to get to mingle with a few so that she might be able to understand more about the Sabbat.

OOC: Are the conversations in a low tone or loud enough for someone who might be standing near to hear?

 Nefertiti found that many of the conversations were hushed, but just as many weren't. However, the ones that weren't were about the party itself and the opinion was generally quite positive.

It seemed that every female was already bust in conversations that either were private or personal which didn’t give Nefertiti a moment to speak to them. It was a bit disturbing for she wouldn’t be able to discover if any were members of the Circle. A lost opportunity to mingle with them.

Allowing herself to gather her thoughts and she looked around for Pandora.

Hoping to find him.

 Nefertiti found "Pandora" on the second floor of the ballroom, overlooking the party. She knew he'd seen her approach but he did not react until she'd gotten close. "Is the party not to your liking?"

 He didn't look at her, instead choosing to watch the festivities. "Remember that parties like these will be vital should you hope to rise in the ranks of kindred society."

Nefertiti smiled to Pandora "It is more than what I'm used to but if you wouldn't mind. I would like to take my leave.  she looked down at the festivities "I'm sure if all goes according to plan, there will be more of these and I will make sure that I'm here sooner than later.

"The females here seem to be most wanting.  Not one of them was without company.  I was a bit jealous. she giggled slightly.  "I'm not well verse in this yet.  But soon I will be.

She looked around for the nearest exit "I hope that you don't mind me leaving.  I have to play my part with those that may be a nuisance.

 Pandora inclined his head. "If that is what you wish. Remember that my door is always open should you need my aid. You have need but to seek me out."

 With that, she was free to leave the party unbothered.


 It turned out that one of the Elysium of the Camarilla was within walking distance of the ball.
