Post Ludum: Matthew's New Life

The volcano world: it's a world we're probably all familiar with (at the very least having seen someone else go through it at another point).  One of the most common introductory worlds, Vars introduces the verser to, well... versing!  In that regard, the world did its job.

Honestly, though, this was the first time I saw a verser kill himself.

Eh, world over, discussion begins...

You did fine with it, Malachai.

Yah, its not so common, but Captain Chris was known for using a lightsaber to verse himself out.

Re: Post Ludum: Matthew's New Life

Well, I tried to get the info I needed to construct a lightsabre in the Dreamworld...  :p

But I'm sure that the store aboard the ship I'm on is having a good lightsabre sale right now for me, right???  ;)

If Oak gets a lightsaber, I think we should all be very... very scared.

Wow, really???  :o

Hmmm...  OK, off the top of my head...

The odds of rolling 1d10 and not getting a "3" is 0.9...

So the odds of rolling 2d10 and not getting a "3" on either die is 0.9 * 0.9 = 0.81...

And the odds of rolling 3d10 and not getting a "3" on any of them is 0.9 * 0.9 * 0.9 = 0.729...

So that means that the odds of rolling 3d10 and getting a "3" on at least one of the die is actually 1.000 - 0.729 = 0.271...

So I have a better than 27% chance of getting a lightsabre!!!

UNLIMITED POWER!!!  :D

Cute. Very cute.

What are the odds of rolling three "1's" in a row on 3d10 which adds up to a '3'?

If you roll three "1"s in a row, then they will always add up to a "3".

Therefore, the odds in this case would be ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!!!!

UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!!!!!!!   :D

Misty killed herself with an overdose of blood coagulent once to avoid being tortured after saving a young girl's life and ripping off a bunch of bad guy's gems by not doing the assasination of that same little girl.

Re: Post Ludum: Matthew's New Life

I suppose it would be a bad time to say there is a rule in multiverser about suicide. You must pass a willpower check to do it. This was put in place by a kid who played would hear the flavor text for a world, and if he didn't like it, he would off himself, making the GM very mad, since there is thought put into worlds. Not to say that if your in a hopeless situation a GM should waive it, just putting that out there to say if I want to get out of a world, I will just suicide myself, it may not happen.

Hmmm... neat, JH.  It was a fairly hopeless situation, though, so meh.
