A bit late, but any comments about Misty and Alexis' adventures in the Heart and the Waking World?

I loved Marvin!  :)

But should they have been versed out?  I would have expected Alexis to be squished flat as a pancake, and charred beyond recognition... but then shake it off in the next scene, like any self-respecting Toon...  ;)

I'll bet Marvin does just that, too!  :D

Meanwhile, how will Alexis and Misty ever live down having survived Lilandra and Hubby, and having survived heavily armed robbers, only to be versed out by Marvin the Martain???  :p

I thought it more appropriate to use the rules governing Robin Hood than Toons.  And even in a Toon-ish area of the Heart, a verser can verse out.  The shock of being squished can verse someone out, although it is less in Toon-ish areas, to be sure.

Oak, I don't have a problem being versed out that way.  Alexis made the best choice she had among a limited grouping of options.  It just didn't work out.  Sometimes you're the windshield.  Other times, you're the bug.
