Post Ludum: Krillis and the Killerbots

Krillis got unlucky with bad GE rolls plus botches in an adventurous situation, and so he's versed out.

Comments, suggestions on the play, or the world?  Any ideas that you would add to a Cyberpunk World that has had some strange disaster strike part of it?

What is the meaning of "Jill" that Mariko kept talking of?

And so on and so forth...

I've already figured it all out.

Jacks and Jills are a new series of cyber.  They are part of a high-tech society that share knowledge and virtually lose all control of themselves.  They are controlled by programs and become human robots.

Mariko used to be a hyuk, which is, I presume, a rich individual that runs the Jacks and Jills.  Or at least she was the daughter of one, and she wanted to be like everyone else and become a Jill.

It's clear that the back of their spines are connected to what controls them, and perhaps receives city-wide transmissions to go loony.  So, in theory, I might be able to capture and perform surgery on them to save them.  But, that is highly unlikely.

I can't believe those guys didn't help me..

Anyways, which hand did I lose?

I have to admit, I found it interesting that Avahur's hand got healed on the same day that Krillis' hand got blown away...  :p

Of course, this day also saw the First Mate's hand, and other hand, and the rest of his body, get eaten, soooooo...  ;)

Like I said before -- nasty things, those Frozen Botch DiceTM...  :O

I still would like to know which hand got blown off.  I think it was my left, but I'm not sure.

I think that I pulled with my right hand, my plasma pistol out from my holster, and with my left, the lasetek pistol out.

Ironic though, my GM loses his hand after I get my hand back from stupid dice making me lose mine...  ahh well back to training...
