Post Ludum: Horrified

This was Gothika, and Hadrian survived in it longer than some players.  Its not an easy world to survive in for many.

Re: Post Ludum: Horrified

It's all about adjusting to ones surroundings. Being stubborn gets me nowhere, but being smart and quiet means I can learn more about a world, and survive for longer before some thug breaks my neck.

I liked Gothika as well. I think Hadrian could have quite possibly made a successful life for himself there had he been a bit rougher on the edges, or more skilled with a sword. I have so far been a bit surprised with the number of outrageous lies Hadrian has been able to get away with, especially the one in the tower of Rhodes; but I guess acting tough was a bit more than he could handle.

I was toying with the idea of trying to forge an alliance between the intellectual community and the military to push the religious Hierarchs out, but that came to an abrupt end. I only hope that the little Hadrian managed to pass onto Henry did some good. In any case I am looking forward to seeing what wonders await Hadrian in this new world.

Re: Post Ludum: Horrified

More skilled with a sword?  It comes with practice.  Train till you can't train any longer, and continue training.  Push your body to its limit, and train till you collapse.  That is how you master something in a short period of time.  You need to make the blade an extension of your arm.  No easy task, but if you can... come visit Avahur, and if he doesn't kill you on sight.. (Chances are he wont, he mellowed down a bit, as he wants to enjoy worlds a bit instead of going from place to place constantly)  You might be able to learn something..and by something, I mean a lot.  Swordplay, Weapons Training, Tactical Maneuvers, Magic, what REAL stamina is, etc.  Avahur is a veteran verser.  He can teach ya much if ya ever run into him.. But I must say, this was a good world.. an interesting read indeed.

I was sorry to see Hadrian versed out...

But I find the next world you've sent him to, and the similarities, very interesting indeed...  :)
