Misty's Implants and Effects: General Question

OK, what should be the effect of Misty's implants?  This is a question for any player or lurker who wishes to join in.

I've already created two effects or three.
1)Wakes alert and energetic.
2)Requires an hour less of sleep each night.
3)Moderates hunger drive in variance to perceived need...thus will eat less on a desk work day than on a physical training day.

I'd like three to five more effects.  And while, I probably would not use them, I can always use more ideas than that for other games/novels etc..  So feel free to toss out as many ideas as you like.

This should be very interesting.  I can hardly wait to see what you all come up with.

After this fight, I really hope one of them kicks out the local version of ibuprofen.

Re: Misty's Implants and Effects: General Question

Hmm... howabout...

-Enhances eyesight or hearing (think 5/5 for eyesight)
-Her skin becomes tough like leather
-Enlarges the capacity of her lungs

And... wait... this is a really old topic.

Re: Misty's Implants and Effects: General Question

Its an old topic, but still it was up in the air, so I'm glad you participated.

We have five slots.

1-3 are as follows:
1)Wakes alert and energetic.
2)Requires an hour less of sleep each night.
3)Moderates hunger drive in variance to perceived need...thus will eat less on a desk work day than on a physical training day.

4)changes vision to 5/5...I like that one, subtle but powerful, but not overwhelming is what we are going for.

5) Well I like the ibuprofen, but then you already have a pain control device.  Lets say, an adrenal pump which will have similiar effect temporarily, and a few other effects as well, not all good.

I'm tempted by something to aid the kidneys, an additional strain/filter to remove toxins from the blood.  This would allow you to recover from hangovers faster, and more importantly reduce soreness from lactic acid, but then lactic acid is actually an important part of the body becoming stronger.  Its one of those "In the short run, this will help you, but over the long term, it won't." things.

The leather like skin is too blatant for this.  But the lung capacity enhancement is good.  Lets say that 1 and 2 are functions of the same thing, a more fine-grained hormonal control, especially of sleep related chemicals, and that will allow us to add the lung enhancement which should be started at 10% and once she re-learns how to breathe, 20%.

I'll be glad to take more suggestions, even if I don't use them for Misty.  A good idea is worth saving.  The key question: Is it something that could simply be done, something that technology could be expected to deliver that would be the equivalent of taking a minor prescription drug?
