Post Ludum: Krillis the Second

Since I'm going to restart Krillis the First with a retcon, that means K2 is put on hiatus.  So, opinions on the Greek myth world I put him in? Including on the biological division of people into different categories of competence which I stole from L. Sprague de Camp in his Greek myth world (Servants are always less competent than those of the Hero class, forex.)

Also, thoughts on using it as a starter world?

Also, thoughts on the Greek pantheon as a bunch of teenage Valley girls and boys with divine power?

Any other comments as well?

Re: Post Ludum: Krillis the Second

I liked it; however, I don't think that it is actually that good of a starter world.

While it could be for a scholarly player, which I somewhat am when it comes to mythology, I believe that a more experienced verser (with his own new-found extraordinary abilities to use) would have a more enjoyable time in this world.

The baby touch was funny...

Re: Post Ludum: Krillis the Second

Another thing...

This world is a good world, and I loved the story in it and everything...

But I myself cannot be pleased by it, because I am a student of Greek Mythology and always will be.  Because of this, the representation of gods and goddesses in that way will always irk me a little bit.  One of the many faults of a classical education.
