Spy School for Alexis

Any recomendations as to training courses, or cool spy gear for our brand-new superspy?  Think James Bond...

And as a side note, I think Alexis would like a long time before the next mission.  But I don't know how long it will be.  So I'm going to roll a 3d10, and determine that.  Low like a "3" (which is best possible case) and she gets a year of training and luxury.  High like a "30" (which is worst possible case) and she gets waken out of bed tonight, tossed a burka and a parachute and a Dummy's Guide to Speaking Persian, and dragged out to the C-130 where they explain the plan to parachute her into Iran because the Iranians are about to launch a nuclear strike.  And its a one way suicide mission, but she should be happy because if she succeeds she is saving millions of lives.

"England expects every verser to do her duty."

And for a player who wanted a mission, these numbers would be flipped.  This roll is based on what the referee thinks the verser wants.

I won't say, other than its decent for her, but not supergreat.

Re: Spy School for Alexis

This Verser wants some skills before she gets dumped into a mission so please roll a 3 lol

Excellent ideas Kate. I hope I have time to learn most if not all of them.

Alexis rubs her hands together in glee "This is so cool".  Starts making notes fast and furiously.

Re: Spy School for Alexis

Your lucky, I had no time before a mission showed up. Here are some other ideas for you:

Martial Arts
Advanced Sciences: Physics, Thermodynamics, Chemestry
Demolition/Demonlition Removial Training (including atomic)
Social Graces
Music

I'm hoping to not blow up London, and get some time after my mission to train on the very skills above.

Re: Spy School for Alexis

As for spy gear that's up my alley:

Lazer Beam Watch
Metal Gear Solid Camo Stealth Suit (think Predator)
Grapple Gun
Thermal goggles
Nightvision goggles
Stick and slap explosives (ala XXX)
Gun that shoots different bullets, sleep, fake blood, real
Souped up car
Mini cam and mic in a broach
Ring with a tazer needle
Belt that turns into a metal whip
Evening Gown with a built in parachute
Pocketbook gun (think Once apon a time in mexico and those movies)
Lipstick torch
Compact Sleep Powder
Eyeliner Darts

That's my list :)

Re: Spy School for Alexis

I consider myself to be a key individual so here are my suggestions:

1. Thermite key.  Insert this slim key into the lock, then break it off to ignite the charge.  The lock melts and the door is now open.

2. Lockpick set key.  Remove the endcap to reveal three small picks and a tension bar.  You have to use the endcap as a handle for your chosen lockpick, since it is too small to hold otherwise.  It's not as good as a full set, but it beats trying paper clips.

3. Hypodermic key.  Remove the cover to reveal a small, one-use pressurized hypo auto-injector filled with sleepy juice or truth juice.  Press against opponent to activate.

4. Blade key.  A small locking blade slides from the key's tip.  While it's not really good as a weapon, ropes fear it.

5. Flashlight.  No keyring is complete without one of those tiny, impossibly bright flashlights.

Re: Spy School for Alexis

Looks good. We did this over on GO for another player who needed a gun, but did not know what type she wanted.  It worked out well, too.

Check this out.  Item #4 talks about a bra designed to hold a pistol and pepper spray.  This sounds perfect for a female spy.

Also, if you can find it, there is an Italian film called "The 10th Victim".  In one scene of this campy sci-fi film, Ursula Andress playing a character named Caroline shoots someone with a double barreled gun built into her bra.
