Re: John in Steampunk Lo ndon

She's willing to try Blackstaff's teaching.

He thinks its appropriate for you to teach hammer.

"It balances."

She's wide-eyed as Lecour does a backflip and then a front kick, but shakes her head 'no'.

OOC) Correct and ok.

"Not sure." Says Blackstaff.

OOC) Actually that was me that was having a brain fuzz out.

Cuties smiles in appreciation.

Two weeks from now the wood will be here.

Cutie nods in acceptance, seeming a bit proud.

Yes, she is.

"Orderly."

Now we just gotta find Cutie a black trenchcoat and a backpack and she will be MistressHammer..... I hope I run into her again when she's a true Order/Chaos mage.

"Don't want to do that? Okay. Up to you."

OOC) Understood. Hate that.

"See? I told you you could make a living on your feet and not on your back."

She sold the wind chime for two days hotel rent? See if she can pay for the room now.

Yes, she is.

OOC) Ever seen the movie Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal? She plays a submissive to James Spader. He tells her to sit at a desk with her palms flat on the top and her feet on the floor and don't move until I come back. So she sits there just like he said. For the next three days. If he never came back, she would have sat there until she died. Now THAT is a true submissive. I wonder if Cutie would do that......

Re: John in Steampunk Lo ndon

She pays for the room.

OOC: Not remotely.  She's in the normal female range which is naturally more submissive, but not insanely so.  She's probably sit there for an hour or thirty minutes and then get up and listen for you to come, and after a while, leave and get food.

She does come from a world where women are more submissive, but I'd say that's going to be common.  Also, she's going to be developing other tendencies which go with that world.

You keep a fairly active schedule, but she doesn't complain because well, among other things, she'd be a Victorian I think, and Victorians made the work ethic of doctors seem almost normal.

Re: John in Steampunk Lo ndon

OOC) Secretary is a really good movie. He told her to sit with her hands flat on the desk. And to test that, he calls the phone sitting on the desk. She won't even lift her hand to pick it up. She tries to pick it up with her mouth. He told her to keep her hands flat on the desk. So she did. The Secretary is right behind May Canady as The Girl of my Dreams. Ever seen the movie May with Angela Bettis? People say she's weird. I didn't think so. I thought she was perfect. I wanted to jump into the movie so May and I could drive to Vegas and get married.

"So what do we do now Cutie?"

OOC: I've seen neither movie. If we're talking old movies about girls I rather liked 'My Fair Lady'.

OOC: What have you decided about Krillis' game offer?

The next week you pick up a verser sense.

OOC) Check Private Messages for that answer.

You mean other than the one going to the T-800? So it's a New Arrival? Which direction is it? Should we go after it or wait for it to come to us?

"What do you think Cutie?"

OOC) Yeah, both awesome. Mark Ruffalo is definitely the best guy to play Bruce Banner since Bill Bixby. Here's to hoping they keep him for the sequels.

Wouldn't take a day. She says stay, we stay.

Try to use Order sight to find the New Arrival. See if it's anybody I know.

OOC) When are they going to learn though? You don't fight The Hulk. That just makes him stronger and more violent. If they had any sense they would have put on some soft music and had ScarJo start doing a striptease. You want to calm that boy down!!!!

I do know how to answer the age-old question of Hulk vs Superman though. Real easy. Put Lou Ferrigno in a boxing ring with Brandon Routh. I'd pay to see that!!!

Well then, just wait till they get here. Give Cutie another injection of scriff.

Re: John in Steampunk Lo ndon

A few days later, and the source has been getting closer and closer....

And then you hear from the lobby, Cutie's startled laughter...

And you look out, and in the middle of the room is a yellow faced man, bowing over Cutie's hand, kissing it, obviously putting the moves on her, and she's trying to resist, but not that hard....

And frankly, he's really good at it.

He's wearing a panama hat, a yellow suit, and has yellow suitcases.

Walk up to him and ask sarcastically "Where's Curious George?"

I do have a bit of a jealous streak going, and my right hand isn't straying far from my 50 revolver.

OOC: The joys of having a supercharacter in your game......"hehehe

He glances your way.

"Buzz off. The lady and I are talking."  He turns back to Cutie who tries to say something about knowing you, but he smoothly overrides her.

You haven't moved, and suddenly he does.  He puts his abnormally large hand on your skull, and squeezes a little bit.  It hurts, but you're used to pain, and so it doesn't make you wince or cry....

And  your gun is in  his chest with you holding on to the trigger.

"Curious George no likey.  George is about to squeeze funny man's head like a grape." he says.

OOC) If all you need is a supercharacter to kill me, you had that with the T-800. Try running me with one that is supposed to be my ally. Run me with Tadders.

IC) I am of course going to shoot this guy. But first I'm going to shoot Cutie. Send her into The Verse and deny him his prize. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing he didn't get her before I verse out.

Re: John in Steampunk Lo ndon

In spite of that fact that I think that method of verse out is getting remarkably old hat, I still appreciate the fact that you believe it would take someone on the level of Whisp or a T-800 to verse out Magehammer. Give me a warm fuzzy.

Something occurred to me when I realized who that was. MJ has always said that supercharacters are not good to run with "Normal" versers. So why is it that in Da Rulez, you've got stats for about a dozen supercharacters for referees to use?

Am I supposed to reply to this as a game?

Maybe Whisp teleported me somewhere and didn't kill me?

Did you/Will you send him a message?

But Cutie got out. I denied him his prize. What would be cool though is if she came back as SuperCutie. Now she's an Order/Chaos mage on the level of where I had Magehammer in the game I ran for you. Maybe she's mad at me, maybe she's happy to see me. I mean, seriously, show me a supercharacter from The Other Side. Just a suggestion.

IC) "Did I get him? Did I get him?" I look around for a minute, needing to calm myself. Cutie got away from that guy. "Oh well, Cutie won't have to deal with him. Happy Versing Cutie!!!!"

Re: John at Joe's

Two Posts

I had the normal Jealous Boyfriend reaction there. Denying him his prize. At least I didn't lose completely. After giving it some more consideration, I realize it was also to protect Cutie. Look at what he did to me? Do you really want to do anything with him? He might very well be the most gentle guy in the The Multiverse. (Somehow I doubt that with Whisp) but does she want to take the chance? She's better trained than I was when I versed out the first time. I hope I get to tell her that someday. I also wanted to protect her from him. Sending into the verse will do that just fine.

I think I did love her. Or whatever passes for that with versers.

I have no problem with your reaction to Whisp.  He's a ladykiller, or a cad.

Can you send Oak a message?

IC:

You stand up in wild grsss and weeds.  Overhead you see several fast moving lights, and then there is another more steady somehow light that moves above you.  And there is something that glitters in the sky far away, but you can almost see a shape.
Its the second brightest thing in the sky after the nearly full moon.

Another frog croak brings your eyes back to earth, and off to your right you see a slithering in the grass.  Upon looking closer you see its a twelve foot long alligator which is ignoring you as it heads down to the water.

Away from the water, you see a light flash into the sky,and dissappear.

Checking your verser sense you feel for your stuff, and across the water at whatever distance is another verser.

I was in the hotel lobby, and my gear was in my room. So my gear is close by. Find my gear, reload my gun, and go see who that other verser is. I've still got my survival pack, so I'm good there.
