Re: OOC Thread V

Are you talking to me?
if so, I didn't get it from a movie...I think. Somebody might have said it somewhere in a movie.
That's my actual feelings. I don't like heights.

random note: I think I know where Misty is. I guess it's not to hard if I figured it out.

Re: OOC Thread V

PM me your guess, and I'll tell you if you're right.

And the movie is 'Demolition Man', a tale of Political Correctness gone even more insane.

Re: OOC Thread V

My Dart World scenario was kind of like Demolition Man. I'd like to drop a trigger happy player into Dart World, and then drop Bob Thomas into the scenario.

Re: OOC Thread V

Magnus, you are brilliant. Well done, sir.

John, I left Bob Thomas in a briefcase that Jhiaxus currently holds.  Of course, it can be before or after.

Starsong Systems is also a bad place for trigger happy players.

My favorite of your worlds was Music Wars.  It kinda made sense, but in a really bizarre way.  Like history could actually go that way, but withthe element of complete unexpectedness that real history has.

In reply to Tadeusz (msg # 16):

John can try to get Bob from my cold dead hands, quite frankly the briefcase is more protecting Bob from me, than the multiverse from Bob.

In reply to Tadeusz (msg # 16):

So in Da Rulez where it talks about him being imprisoned in "Adam's Briefcase" it's THIS Adam?

I'd like to run through Music Wars as a player Eric. I don't even remember the concept that well.

Re: OOC Thread V

Guys, how do you define the term "trigger happy"?  (Ignore the fact that this question comes from a a player whose character generally carries at least five weapons at any given moment.)

Re: OOC Thread V

I've never considered Misty to be trigger happy.  She carries a fair assortment of weapons, but she really doesn't use them that much.  The most ammo she's ever used was at Mordor, which was a combat mission.

Re: OOC Thread V

Not this Adam.  Jhiaxus picked up in The Nightside where its always 3 O'Clock in the morning.  Based on the very weird and disturbing Simon Green novels.

Not to me, Misty.  You didn't ventilate the bushes around the campfire on the off chance someone might be hiding there.  You might have problems in Dart World or Starsong Systems, but hey, MJ was placed on trial for his life in Starsong.

Re: OOC Thread V

You should send her to the world with the Tuatha. That quote is an exact description of that world. And Misty has psionics.

Of course, Misty probably can't tear the torcs off with her bare hands, but she'll figure out a way around that.

It showed up just fine on my computer.

What was the Tuatha world called? Was it Black Box Imperium? I don't think I ever knew.

I double posted because I thought I had not posted once because my router said 'no connection for you dude.'

'Many Colored Land'...it was based on the Julian May books, which btw, are very good.

Oh Eric, I think I know what happened. You and I tried to post at the exact same time. I got a similar error message. It does that when two people try to post to the same thread at the same time. That's happened to me twice now. When that happens, just wait a second and hit "Send" again.

In reply to Eric (msg # 22):

Picked it up is a bit of an understatement, it would be more like, entrusted to hold onto this weapon for the safety of the multiverse kind of inherited responsibility. As to the use of firepower, it tends to start out higher at the beginning of a verser's career, because it is familiar, and becomes one of many options as they advance.

Re: OOC Thread V

Thanks Eric. Can I use this as evidence for a fairly high intuition? Anyway. My world ideas come from putting media I like into a blender and setting it on maximum power. Admittedly I didn't make the world Mentat is in. But it is big enough that I can add in my creations. It was created with the same method on a much larger scale. Eric might enjoy the enlightening madness of the setting and system. I love Multiverser's ability to convert Multiverser characters to other systems.
