Misty, try mixing a half cup of Folgers instant coffee grounds in with the batter next time you make brownies or cake. That will keep you awake!!!!!!

Magnus: Yes. As good as 1 in 50, or 1 in a 100?

It's really up to you and how impressed you are. I'm not greedy.  I would be happy to be rated 1 in 50

Re: OOC Thread V

1@10 is 1 in 10
2@1 is 1 in 50
2@2 is 1 in 100

When I get back home I can tell you where it says that in the Big Black Book.

Re: OOC Thread V

I'm Home.

On the last paragraph on page 11 of the Big Black Book it states.
1@5 normal human
1@10 exceptional human
2@1 1 in 50
2@2 1 in 100
2@5 1 in 1000
2@10 1 in 50,000 or more

Hmmm...I must have read 1@10 is 1 in 10 from MJ Young somewhere.
Oh well.

Re: OOC Thread V

This is why Tadeusz never let me have any toys like "you are a werewolf" in the games he ran. Because I do stupid things like making posts that make DMs feel bad about killing me after the work I do to live.

In short, thank you, Magnus, for not killing me off just yet.

Re: OOC Thread V

Well. That's what caused you to become a werewolf in the first place.
And I like it when you come up with interesting and entertaining solutions.
So I can be convinced to let you live if you are sufficiently awesome. And The world you are in encourages this.

Re: OOC Thread V

John: You periodically question why conventional wisdom says not to use super characters extensively, specifically yourself as one. I believe your last post to Anthony in Supercharacter Candy Store illustrates the problem. You too closely identify with the character being you, and become offended when people don't like him. This is at least the second time someone has had almost the exact reaction Anthony had, so the problem is most likely not the players.

A player deciding he doesn't like your Supercharacter and would rather go separate ways and not have his help versus bow down in order to receive help shouldn't be a problem. It's a decision point for a player and if you are trying to take that away we're back to the railroading topic I've mentioned to you repeatedly.

Just my 2 cents

Ya know what Glantri? I think you might have a point. Since that is my game and he's not replied yet, it should be okay to delete the post. I'm going back to my original idea there......

Re: OOC Thread V

I'm starting to wonder if Mentat can read my mind. I was planning on having him be the prophesied Darksteel Shepard saviour of the Great Wheel. When he met the tribe I was going to use to train him a bit he said this

quote:
"Your savior has arrived! You are most fortunate that I have arrived at your hour of most dire need, to save you all, and to be your salvation!"

hmmm... I guess I should say

Re: OOC Thread V

I just confused Darksteel for Soulsteel. This was brought to my attention. No, I'm not fixing it. I'm dumb in and out of character. Mirrodin block and Exalted are two completely separate things.

Then again, I might be right for the wrong reasons yet again. This would please me, and be hilarious for all.

Glantri and Oak. Thank you. You've both pushed me into a revelation. I just realized something important. I've learned something valuable thanks to you two.

Keep praying for me Oak. (And anyone else who wants to)

I will be out of town this week from Monday morning through Thursday evening PDT.

The motel is supposed to have internet, but if my access is limited or non-existent during that time period, then at least you had a hint in advance...  :o

Watching the old Gidget show on DVD. Sally Field, 1965. She just called her brother in law an "A-1, first class nut."

It's nice to know SOMEONE would understand!!!!!!
