Playtester's Long Spring Break

Well would a couple of months do better?  The water from the well is not as sweet as it used to be with my gm-ing skillzs getting clunkier from overuse which takes away from the shared joy; I told myself I'd keep on going until it was Spring (which has Sprung in my part of the world); I'm not that happy with the nature of adjutication preferring the rule of a Harvard Law grad at Gaming Outpost (which is where you can find me if I'm not drifting about here).

I had really hoped to see Worldwalker hit 20,000, but 16k+ is very good indeed, and I expect that it will go higher in other more energized hands than mine.

You know how proud and delighted I have been with our shared gaming experience, and how honored to meet you all.  I do intend to come back, and occasionally drop in the OOC.  And I do hope in the future to meet some of ya'll in the Internettubewebbie thing in perhaps another Multiverser game, or this one, or even around a game table at some convention.

And thanks for letting me playtest many an idea.

Right now, if Oak is interested (and not just being his usual very nice self!) he can start running the second installment of Toon Capers if he likes.

*wearing black suit*  He was so young...

He had so many things left undone in life...

He forgot to answer my PM 'bout those world ideas...

lol

Have a great time, PT.  And Oak, I'm going to PM you in a second.

*blink* *blink*

ACK!!!  :O

Well, sending the message that I wanted you to stay away longer wasn't quite what I meant...  :p

But I know you wouldn't have jumped at the opportunity unless you were feeling pretty crispy on the burned-out scale.

So I'd much rather we do much needed shorter-term maintenance on you now, in the hopes that we can keep your engine running longer-term for a good long time yet.

We will seriously miss you...  :(

But if your crispiness is purely GM based... how 'bout hanging around as a player???  Things have been rather quiet around here lately, and you may well be needed to round out the party... :D

OK then... Into the breach once again...  :o

EDIT: Gather Thread Coming Soon!  :D

Re: Playtester's Long Spring Break

Oak,
Give me a couple weeks, and we'll see about as a player.

Also, do you want me to reopen Worldwalker to new players?

I don't see a problem with new players.  I'm up for GMing more players.

Re: Playtester's Long Spring Break

It might be just me (it always is with this >_<), but has anyone else been having trouble getting onto RPoL lately?

Seriously... for the past week the site has never loaded for me.  It seems to be working again now, but man... that was weird.

Re: Playtester's Long Spring Break

Wait... what!?  PT's going!?  Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-kay.

^_^

Have fun on your vacation, I suppose.

Quick question regarding the gather world... when PT gets back can we just pick up where we left off?  I've already left Lakraine once, I'm not giving up on the second time.

Yes, you can pick up where you left off.  Just wait to join the world, because there are technical difficulties at the moment to be worked out.

Re: Playtester's Long Spring Break

After further behind-the-scenes deliberation, Krillis has kindly offered to step up to the plate this time around, as I continue my current slog-a-thon at work...  :o

Krillis will be creating a Gather thread soon.  :D

Yes, I believe that this is once again a temporary break from your current worlds, which you will be returned to after PT comes back... right, Krillis?  :p

And yes, RPoL has been more like SPoL lately (SnailPlay OnLine) for me too!  :(

And now, let's give Krillis a big Gather-GM-welcoming round of applause!!!  :D

*insert wild standing ovation here*  ;)

Re: Playtester's Long Spring Break

It is just a temporary break, yes.

After PT is back, it can be quickly rapped up and you'll be right back where you were in your worlds, without any time having passed.

Avahur, would you like to go to the gather world as well?  It wouldn't effect what's going on in your current world.  No time would be wasted, but it might be fun still.

I've been so sporadic in my posting that I missed PT by a couple days.  Too bad :(

Hopefully he won't be gone too long.

Sorry I'm slow at posting. Between ITT and dealing with my evil duplicate from another universe, I really don't have as much time on my hands as I used to.

But I made my post, so there.

Have fun with that, if I met an evil duplicate of myself... well, I'd enjoy a nice talk with him, since its not everyday you meet an evil you.
