Girlud groaps Vespian for a minute while they hug and then looks to her with a smile. "I am not related to Kurag! I only know him from his beatings!"Girlud looks down to the ground and shakes his head for a moment. "I am affraid I will never be the Goblin King! Even Kurag is not king, he is just a high ranking warrior with magical powers. Shamman's rule the clan with Iron Fist's...but at least they are far to North, we should not have to bother with them" His spirits visible rise as he begins a new statement"No I think once I have paid My debt to yous I will be heading south. Perhaps one day I will be able to sail the high seas. I would very much like that." He continues to walk along with Vespian, a new formed smile on his face.

"A Goblin sailing the highseas? Are you sure you don't want to be King? I have heard about those kind of ships, the crews seems more intent on killing eachother then they do in winning any treasure." She frowns at the grope, but lets it ride just in case their may be more valuable information forthcoming. "Does the king have any bodygaurds? Trained Worgs? Pet Trolls?

Gimuld chuckles to himself when he sees Girlud grope Vespian. Gimuld admires his courage. He knows that if anyone else tried that, they would meet the buisness end of her sword. Do you know of any weakness of the worgs? Like they might be trained to do something when a whistle sounds or something...? But sailing you say? Sounds like a neat idea, sailing, on the open water with the salty air...

Sunlight

The group keeps pace and heads north. Most of the journey this day has been up hill as the tunnel climbs to the surface.  Just after mid-day you are taken aback by an all too familiar sight, sunlight. Up ahead in the tunnel sunlight filters in from the outside, illuminating a long section of tunnel wall. Erdthar stops at the edge of the sunlight as he waits for the others. He pears outside looking for any trouble; he does not see any thing odd.
Approaching closer to the tunnel exit allows you to see out side. You notice that the area outside is tree covered and wild. It appears that the tunnel exits out of a small hillside, for the ground is mostly flat near the exit. Early autumn leafs cover the ground in spots, signs of an all too soon winter to come.

Girlud points out that the mines will be a bit to the east and north. ”We aren’t too far from the mines now! Keep your eyes open for hunters and ambush.  These are wild lands."

Re: Sunlight

Mukhallad pays little heed to the goblin’s warning and leaves the scouting to those more apt. He falls in by Pello and passes the little man some cheese wrapped in wax from one of his ration bundles.

“I have been thinking about the rescue that your people did to me. You made a loud point that I should repay the debt. But I am having no money to do so; may I work away the favour? In the past Mukhallad would not be seen the adventurer’s trousers but perhaps he would make a good one. What do you be thinking about that?”

Goblins and they fall like.

The sun light filters down through the trees. The forest floor is covered with small shrubs fell trees and boulders. Looking around the majority of the trees in the area are large and tall pine trees, their branches twirling around in the soft breeze. A few forest creatures like birds and chipmunks can be heard in the distance.
Mukhallad and Pello’s conversation is interrupted as Erdthar noisily sniffs at the air. Then mid sniff his eyes widen at the sight of the goblin troop that has come out of the trees. He motions to the others as he prepares for battle.
Six of them. No seven goblins fall out of the trees in ranks. The front line goblins hurriedly prepare for an attack, they wield spears. Further back a larger, seemingly more skilled and dangerous goblin barks out orders to his goblin lackeys. ”Surround them! Leave one alive” He speaks in goblin.

Gimuld sees the creatures and knows he can't shoot them in time so he moves forward and to the right to hold a good position behind a tree. He pulls out his Morningstar and looks at it. I really need a new weapon...maybe the shop will have a better one, maybe imbued with magic!

Gimuld moves to x18 and pulls his morningstar.

Wanting to charge, but noting that she would trip over Girlud who is partially in her way, she grudginly resorts to missile combat and aims at the leader. "Fall Back Lt Girlud!" She says to him in Goblin.

(End Round 1)Goblins and they fall like.

Before the goblin brigade falls out of the trees and into attack formation, Erdthar is upon them swinging his axe madly. His chop smashes through a goblin without any effort. Spilling its blood onto the ground the goblin falls. (G6 down!)
Vespian unleashes an arrow. Its flight path headed for the leader, but with the wind the shot falls short. Girlud follows her orders and falls back. ”Watch flanks, watch flanks!! he cries out as he moves back and draws his Morningstar.
Mukhalld pulls his crossbow and gets a bead one of the enemies; he goes to pull the trigger as Erdthar drops that very same foe. With uncanny quickness the mage turns and fires toward another foe (G1). The shot stings the goblin in the arm. Seeing that his shot did not yet drop his foe Mukhallad wildly works the ratchet on his bow and drops in another bolt.
The Goblins react to Erdthar’s charge and try to surround him. Three of them move in with spears pointing. The first (g1 9miss) strikes out at Erdthar but misses. His comrade(g2 4miss) arrives on the seen and goes for a low blow aimed at Erdthar’s legs, Erdthar snaps his legs together nearly snapping the twig in too, causing it to veer off uselessly. The third (g5 16Hit -5hp) goblin rushes in for the attack as well. Going high for the Orc’s head the goblin manages to draw some blood as he gashes Erdthar’s cheek.
Two remaining goblins Move up and throw their spears into the crowd. One of the spears flies through the air and hits Vespian in the leg (g3 20Hit -1hp). The second goblin steps forward and launches his spear in Milo’s direction. His mark is true and the spear tip stabs into the Halfling’s arm. (g4 18Hit -5hp) .
The Lead Goblin lets out a shouting command as he moves forward”Gurak Gurak!”. He launches his javelin into the air. The javelin gains a good amount of altitude…and then comes bombing out of the sky, uselessly landing next to Vespian. (L1 11miss)
Quindil launches one of his arrows, the shot looks good but it bounces of the Leaders chain armor.
Gimuld draws his morning star, he wants to move a bit closer to the action, but the goblins block his path forcing him to take the round about way.
Pello & Milo hold their actions, waiting to see what their enemies do.
