Erdthar manages to avoid getting tangled, but the dodging he has to do throws off his swing, and he misses the goblin before him.

Seeing most of the goblins concentrating on Erdthar, Pello quickly moves around the flank, hoping that the advesaries will once again mistake him for something quite harmless.

Mukhallad fires off a foul shot and curses before reloading.

Erdthar swings his axe at another goblin, but the blow glances off the goblins hide.
Vespian steps forward as she pulls forth her sword, using the momentum she slashes at the goblin before her, creating a bloody mess as the goblin falls to the ground (g3 dead).
Mukhallad fires of another shot, this time his aim is not as true and the bolt flies wide. Mukhallad curses aloud in an arcane tongue.
The goblins swarm their closets opponents. Erdthar fights off three of them with his axe. The first of his enemies jabs out missing the Orc (g2 9miss) . The second goblin does not fair any better; swinging his spear wildly. (g1 4miss). The third and final enemy goblin pokes high hoping to hit the mark; he doesn’t! (g5 8miss).
One of the other goblins move up to attack the flowing red hair beauty. One goblin jabs low. Yet he can notnail a hit (g4 15miss).
The Lead goblin however finds his target. Another one of his javelins sails through the air nailing the goblin traitor Girlud ripping into his flesh (L1 16Hit -5hp)
Milo calls power from the trees and suddenly the ground begins to reach up and grab all those around. (Entangle saves: Goblins Fail!, Erdthar Pass 17, Gimuld Pass 22, Vespian Pass 19, Leader Pass 18) . As the trees reach out they are able to cling to the goblin foot troops, but they can only mange to hinder the movement of the others.
Quindil moves forward and gets a line on the leader at smacks him with an arrow, drawing a bit of blood.
Gimuld moves through the Entanglement with a bit of difficulty but has enough momentum to thump one of the goblins in the skull, felling the beast.
Pello skirts the battlefield; unnoticed.

Every one else in the Tangle is reduced to 1/2 movement. End of next round will need reflex 13 or Entangled.

Erdthar takes a step to the right, and slices deep into the nearest goblin with his razor-honed axe.

I am afraid this foilage is fonder of me then I am of it! The lass moves out of the way of the touchy growth, but stays close enough to hit the other goblin.

Quindil takes another few steps and launches another arrow, continuing the ballet of death between him and the leader.

Unfortunately, his arrow flies over the head of the goblin leader.  Stupid short things.

Pello stops with a screech as the plants in his path suddently comes to life. For a second he looks at the plants with clearly visible apprehension, but then he ventures into the area, dodging and swerving to avoid the grasping plantlife.

As he slowly moves farther into the area, he begins muttering the words of a spell, and finally points at the leader. Nothing seems to happen.

Complementing Quindil's volley Mukhallad adds his own bolt to the missile barrage aimed at the leader.

Gimuld moves forward to attack the goblin that Erdthar isn't taking care of. He lifts his morningstar and smashes it into the goblins skull, causeing a large amount of bleeding and what appears to be pain for the goblin. That has got to hurt...

Vespian takes a swing but misses her mark.
Mukhallad releases another bolt, but it can not find it’s mark.
The goblins counter. One takes a swing on Vespian, narrowly missing her pretty little head.
A second goblin steps up to attack Erdthar his mark is true and his spear cuts deep into the orc’s flesh (g5 18hit -1hp)
The lead goblin launches yet another javelin into the crowd of hero’s, his mark is true as it cuts down Girlud (L1 19Hit -4hp, Girlud down!)
Milo holds his action.
Quindil launches an arrow but the shaft is far off the target.
Gimuld steps forward and smashes the skull of one goblin, sending a shower of brains to the ground.
Pello Magically enchants the Lead goblin, and suddenly the goblin leader takes on a new found attitude.

Pello smiles as he feels his arcane power grasp the goblinoids brain, and calls out

"Heel boys, heel! I've got him bagged." Pello glances at the downed form of Girlud, "Might make a good replacement too, if the attitude holds after the spell wears out."

Erdthar attempts to move away from the scene battle, and aid his downed goblin ally, but the grabbing plants hold him tight, and he is unable to move.

Gimuld manages to get from the vines and trys to make his way out of the circle. But alas, the plants slow him down.

Milo runs up and helps Vespian with the goblin she it fighting.

Mukhallad moves to Girland's side and starts to apply untrained first aid.

Vespian and Milo finish off the final goblin with a couple quick blows to its head.
The now “charmed” lead goblin jabs his spear point into the ground in front of him. He looks over to Pello with curiosity in his eyes, for some reason he is attracted to the little gnome. He begins to walk over toward Pello. As he walks he cries out ”You there.” He does not finish his statement, he just keeps trotting through the over growth toward Pello.
Mukhallad tries to tend to Girlud’s wounds, but the mage is not able to bind the wounds.

"Yes, my goblin-afflicted associate." Pello says and tries to step closer to the goblin, only to realise that the plants has seized the chance the short time he stood still, and enwrapped his legs.

Expecting that little problem to be solved as soon as his friendly, co-dimunitive druid gets his wits about him, Pello simply spreads his arms out in a friendly gesture to the goblin.

"Yes, what can I do for you? And almost as importantly, what can you do for me?"

Vespian attempts to make way through the entanglement in order to assist with Mukhallad's attempts to stabilize Girlud, but is caught up in the magical overgrowth.

The wizard keeps up with his feeble attempts.

"If he dies, I get my gold back." Vespian looks to the brighter side of the days events.
