The moon is low and cast dark shadows but the alley is not well lit. People usually don’t travel the back alleys after dark, of course you get the occasional drunk that tries to take a short cut here and there. Typically after dark Sundabar gets a bit rough.
So, looking down from the roof, does the alley appear to be in shadowy illumination or darkness (PH, pg. 164)?
If in shadowy illumination, how far can Argost see before it becomes darkness?
Also, since we don't know the location of the moon, would Pello and Argost be silhouetted against it relative to the alley or would they be in darkness relative to the alley?
Sorry, just trying to figure out what level of natural concealment Argost might have and what level of light he might need to provide to prevent our foes from getting concealment relative to him... This message was last edited by the player at 05:28, Tue 20 Jan 2009.
I think we are ready. I will be able to update today after work
OoC: So,
Falk on the ground in alley posing as the gem carrier
Argost on the roof of the Goat.
Quin: will be invisible... and his approach will be from Where?
Pello Roof top
Nolo: Casting some spells and sneaking on mages
Vesp: Gaurding Falk
Erd: Gaurding Falf
Nolo is going to support Vesp and Falk, I am going to try and use Detect Thoughts and see if I can give them a heads up on the arrival of the mages. So I need to be within 60 ft of where we suspect they will enter the alley from. I rolled a hide check and added it to my post. This message was last edited by the player at 18:55, Wed 21 Jan 2009.
BTW...you guys keep mentioning footsteps...I did not see that in the post...maybe something private to you guys? This message was last edited by the player at 22:14, Thu 22 Jan 2009.
My placement on the map is wrong. According to my last post in which I moved, I should be standing directly above the figure, in the same row of squares only on the roof...
OMG,,, that was pretty awsome to see some of our old notes,,, Old Milo and Gim..., And here 4 years later,, Molly's still living out on the streets,, H'mmm,,, ponder, ponder, ponder..,
