Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

Have you guys been checking out the maps?

Are the maps easy enough to read and understand?

Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

ohh yeah and check out the "Talk of the Town" thread, as you guys collect rumors we will add them to the list, basically like the old DnD modules. Pick an adventure type thing, using the city as a hub for supplies and role play, and of course adventure hooks. :)  So if you see an idea or plot you might want to follow up on and its not on the list, just pm me or drop a line in this thread.

Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

If anybody gets confused trying to follow my character, just bear with me...I'm still tryin to figure out his personality and (especially important) intelligence.  So far, I think I've been playing him too smart, so I'm gonna "dumb him down" so to speak.

Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

Well in an effort to push things along and try to get to some combat, I will ask that you guys decide on which adventure to partake in. As I stated earlier I would like to play this as kind of a choose your own adventure type, I have found that that seems to be one of the best Online approaches. Allowing you to get in there and have at some monsters as well as giving you the ability to role play a bit in-between encounters. So we have done the role play bit Time to get to some monsters.

So unless there are any objections please take a look at the "Talk Of The Town" thread and choose a "plot, rumor, or job" from the list. (dont worry the list will get much longer as we go)

Pick two adventures that you would like to check into and post them here, After everyone post a couple of ideas we will choose the most popular.

GAME ON!!!

These interest Milo

The Netherese Ruins  TREASURE!!!!

or

Need stout lads!! Apply in person at 120 IronLeaf. (If inquired about you find that this was posted by a wealthy land owner who has recently purchased an old Diamond mine in the Rauvin foothills. The mine was purchased from an old dwarven miner that could no longer support the mine due to the cost of upkeep. The main cost being, to keep the mines clear of monsters or worse. Now this new owner of the mines is asking that you go and secure his mine before he and his small group of miners go and set up camp. He will pay a total of 700GP, he is willing to give 1/2 as down payment for supplies.)

Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

I vote for Netheres ruins or the diamond mine. Of the two I like the diamond mine best beause of that half-pay up front option.
Sounds to good to be true but Vesp is to young to know better.

Re: Town Hall (OOC Thread)

Hey, does anyone else want to post some simple notes about themselves for the rest of us to know your character a little better?

I reason that sitting around for a morning trading stories, opinions and drinking a few beers would give us all at least some basic ideas about your character. I also reason that Roleplaying that process out would take a few months of real life time and not be as much fun as KILLLLLING SOMTHING!!!!!!
So maybe we just take a shortcut here. Bada Bing, Bada BOOM!

I'll even do a better job on my own. After I get done making dinner. Ie throwing leftovers in the Microwaive.

So if you want to get a head start, You each get 50gp to spend, or you can combine, what ever you choose.

The Bloodaxe have a supply house up the road that carries all the goos listed on Tables: 7-4, 7-5, 7-7,7-10. (No master work and no magical weapons avalible)

I am out for the weekend so see you guys later.
