When I try to start the Maptools launcher it says "Unable to access jarfile maptool *.jar"

Please help!

Map tool launcher seems to handle setup options.  I think it should proceed to maptools, but it fails for me too with the same error message.

Oddly enough (given that error message), you need to click on the .jar file itself in the same folder and that will happily run maptools ... in the version I've got installed, the file is maptool-1.3.b89.jar

Maptools is weird, and infamously so. But rewarding. :D

It may well be some file association issue with the launcher, but as long as it works, I'm happy. :>
