Is there something that I clicked so that the text color is not working, or is it really not working?

Red works.  For me at least.

Post the sample that is not working and let's troubleshoot.

If it's too private, here's how color styling works:

Type in some text

Highlight that text, drop down the styled text box in the editor window, and select a color or style.  This will surround your text with color tags, for example:

<Seagreen>Type in some text</Seagreen>

The result of this should look like:

Type in some text

Line feeds and other non-printing characters do not affect this (at least they shouldn't...).

What can happen is a typo occurs in one your tags during later edits, like a closing angle bracket gets rubbed out, or a keyword gets misspelled.  Go back through the problem text carefully.

Is this in green?

No it is not, and i used the stylized text.

Might be browser based then, as I see that line as green...
I'm using Chrome for what it's worth

There is a options in the user preferences in the custom color scheme called "Disable colouring in messages". If I remember correctly that would remove all colors from messages.

Looking over everyone's colored text, I can see them perfectly fine as well.

As MalaeDezeld stated, there's a small possibility that you may have changed a setting by accident.

Or further troubleshooting may need to take place. I personally would log out of RPoL as a basic step and relog in in case of a weird bug.

If that doesn't work I would clear your web browser history and attempt it again.

If by chance that doesn't work, try a different web browser and see if the same problem is persisting.

Try logging in through your mobile device as well and see how that plays out.

These are easy steps to isolate the source of the problem.

We can definitely rule out RpoL entirely because nobody seems to be experiencing this issue except for you.

Looks like everyone's got this pretty well covered:

1.)  Check settings in User Preferences (from the main RPoL Menu if all else fails).

This does seem kinda high and outside.  I'm betting you did not set up a custom color scheme, as in clicking on "create one", right?  If you did, I'm wrong, and you should certainly check it, anyway.

2.)  Check that your browser is not playing some kind of cruel game with you...

Browsers I know work with RPoL include:  Google Chrome, Flashpeak Slimjet, Mozilla Firefox, Pale Moon, Konqueror, and Ice Weasel.  I haven't tried Internet Exploiter, er, Explorer because I don't really wanna..., and I haven't tried Safari because I don't own any Apple gear.

If you're using one of these and you're not seeing the green text as green (which, I saw the sample you posted as green...) then look to the items WhiteComic mentions.
