I just tried to change my email address. It said it would send a message to my new email address to confirm it's correct (or something) some 20 minutes ago (as of this writing).
How long does it normally take to get this email ? (I ask cause normal turn around time, in my experience, is like 5 minutes or so.)

Did you check your spam folder? Also, although it does happen, did you spell the new email address correctly? I’ve done that quite few times in my lifetime and we never notice it until we check again. As far as I know, the email issues RpoL was having are resolved so it has to be on your end or your email provider’s end.

ok found the issue - need my password to reset it - problem is I can't recall my password (got it saved to my browser and so never think on it).
Is there any way to learn what my password is ? or Reset it if I can't find it ?

Regardless whichever one, there’s always a way to reset your password on account based sites.

Password reset is in the user preferences, in the same place as you change the email address.  However, that requires the current password to change it as well.

If I were you, I would rMail the Mods and ask for their advice.  They are a  nice and friendly bunch, so long as you aren't breaking the rules  :P :)
