Hyde
Hyde is a hunking mass of a creation. He stands upright at 8ft. He is so heavily muscled throughout his body that it is visible even when he is in his body armor - if someone takes the time to look. Even considering his size, his feet and hands are mammoth by comparison. This is typical of the comparison of paw-size to body size between different cat breeds. Personality traits
Surprisingly, will work well with dog boys so long as they dont threaten him. If a threat occurs, quell it immediately. The supernatural physiology of Hyde is well balanced by his patience. He has a longer than normal fuse for a cat, but that doesnt say much. Has killed two dog boys in skirmishes.
Will take well to orders that involve killing, maiming, prowling, hunting, and explosions.
Will NOT take well to orders that do not involve the aforementioned. He will let you know he is displeased by a low guttural growl. He WILL do them, if they are far and few in between. If two out of three missions do not have those, he WILL outright refuse. If he does, pushing the issue will cause him leave for a time to pursue his own interests. And not necessarily where youd want him to.
Has no regard for rank, military positioning. The mission IS what he wants to do. It IS its own reward to him.
Has mediocre regard for any CS human psionic. Will take well to dog boys, psi-stalkers, and non-psionic humans. Exceptions have existed. He took blasts to shield an injured CS psi-tech that modified his gear.
To compensate for an inability to develop most words, he uses telepathy and a home brewed version of hand signals that are usually easily understood by those who dont know sign language when around those who have abilities to block such communications.
Summary of past duties -
Was studied and numerous samples of nearly all types of cells in attempts to reproduce the supernatural trait in future mutants while he was young.
Went through combat and field training for years until he came of age.
First field work was during the Juicer Uprising. Was exceptionally successful in the field, killing no less than 15 juicers through 7 encounters.
Due to Supernatural traits, was used almost exclusively for recon and espionage missions because of ease of moving about outside of CS territory.
Typical weaponry loadout
Has a penchant for Juicer weaponry after seeing it's effectiveness during the Uprising. Bulk of his favorite equipment was acquired from those slain by him.
Due to the nature of his work, his prefered body armor is the Naval "MEWS" armor, minus the environmental and underwater propulsion system. On the legs, the propulsion system was replaced by juicer rocket boots. There is no head and hand protection, so it isn't environmental.
Typically wears a combat gauntlet with grenade launcher (payload - 3x grenades)
Typically wears a modified, street version of the FIWS - Grenade Launcher and P-beam, no vibro-knives.
The rocket boots, combat gauntlet, and FIWS are painted matte black and a shade of orange that matches Hyde's own fur. The suit has the typical matte black coloration of a wetsuit. Because it is.
His head and right hand are all that are exposed.
