Boris is a shell of his former self. After losing his body of flesh in a gargoyle attack while serving the Warlord Solokov at the age of 14 along with his brother Pavel - they received cybernetic bodies (Pavel received the heavy Aftermath machine, Boris took the light machine). They served as front line scouts for several years before being captured by Kolodenko and then escaping with the help of an old family friend.

They escaped to North America and became mercenaries. Pavel was killed a few years ago now, but Boris continued on, finding nowhere to really call home.

After witnessing the Coalition practice their hatred of all things inhuman and magical, Boris felt compelled to ally himself with Tolkeen. He has only been with Tolkeen for 2 weeks now, but intends on staying with them long enough to lay some firepower down on the Coalition forces.

He is mostly quiet, and is border-line schizophrenic. He distrusts magic, and often refuses it to be used on him. He is a loyal and honest friend when his crusty and bitter exterior layers are peeled away.
