From a distance, Raiden would look like a normal human. But close up, it is immediately apparent that he is far from normal. Horns and a tail are fairly conspicuous after all.

He has a mess of untidy red hair that hangs down around his slightly pointed ears and a pair of short, red-tinged pointed horns that sprout from his forehead. His eyes are red, and seem to burn with an inner fire. His mouth is set in a regular smirk or a broad, wild grin across his pointed jaw and devilishly handsome face.

He is tall and muscular, but he moves with an easy grace, indicating a fast and tough warrior. A few scars run over his hands and arms. Poking out from behind him is a tail, red and ending with a point. It twitches and snaps when Raiden is agitated.

He wears a fine black cloak over well-made brown studded leather armour. A belt and bandoleer strung across his waist hold a few tools and vials. A fine dagger hangs at his hip, while another is strapped to his boot. There are more daggers, apparently, but they remain hidden. A spare two-handed flail is strapped to his back.

But his primary weapon is a scythe, built for combat, with a shaft carved from some gnarled, black wood, and is sharp and twisted blade forged from blood-red steel. The joint is carved into the likeness of a horned demon, with bat wings enclosing the blade.
