Physical Appearance:
Mike is inordinately tall, standing a good six and a half feet tall.  He has a rangy, leanly muscular build.

His face is thin and clean-shaven.  There is an air of clean-cut boy next door about him that makes it almost seem as though he just got home from the sock hop.

His eyes are a bright, clear blue.  And his dark hair is well-trimmed and carefully combed.  He is quite handsome.

Powers:
As his name suggests, Stretch can stretch his limbs and body to super-human lengths and sizes. These stretching powers grant Stretch heightened agility enabling him flexibility and coordination that is beyond the natural limits of the human body. He can contort his body into various positions and sizes impossible for ordinary humans, such as being entirely flat so that he can slip under a door, or using his fingers to pick conventional locks. He can also use it for disguise by changing the shape of his face, although this is painful and difficult for him.

Stretch's powers also greatly augment his durability. He is largely able to withstand corrosives, punctures and concussions without sustaining injury. It has been demonstrated that he is resistant to high velocities that would kill an ordinary person and that he is also more resistant to blasts from energy weapons that would kill ordinary humans.

Weaknesses:
Stretch's altered neurosystem is oddly affected by electricity.  A simple taser strike will reduce him to a puddle for 5 or 6 seconds.  Higher powered strikes will leave him in such a state for minutes or even hours.

Strengths: Mike is an excellent team player, very athletic, and extremely good at basketball.

Background:
Mike was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  His family is comfortably upper middle-class.  His father, Jim, is an engineer for an aerospace company.  His mother, Barbara, is a flavor creator for a nation-wide ice cream company.  He has an older sister, Kim, a single mother, and a younger sister, Tammy, who is confined to a wheelchair due to deformities she was born with.

Mike's a late bloomer, powers-wise, having just expressed his powers for the first time.  It happened at his high school graduation.  His girlfriend at the time, Katie Elders, slipped and started to fall near the edge of the elevated stage and Mike caught her at the last minute.  From twenty feet away.

His life's dreams went down the toilet that day.  Athletic scholarship, summer job, friends and girlfriend.  All lost due to an odd quirk of his genetic system.
