Hemlock

Birth Name:  Kate Snider
Mutant Name: Hemlock
Other Names: Oleander
Age: 34
Gender: Female

Physical Appearance: 5'7", fit but not overly muscular, Kate is a pretty girl, but not overly so; some would say a girl-next-door type of beauty. Her hair is a medium brown and her eyes are blue. She tends to wear army-style fatigues and combat boots along with a simple shirt and a lab coat when she works. On the field, she wears SHIELD field suit in black with accents of deep green.

Powers:  Immunity to toxins, poisons, diseases, chemicals, corrosives & hallucinogenics. Agent Hemlock is very highly resistant to all form of organic poisons, diseases and toxins as well as natural corrosives and hallucinogenics. As a beneficial side-effectof this, her body is also immune to her own naturally-occurring fatigue toxins. This allows her to fend off exhaustion or the need for sleep.
Her wrists and neck contain glands that produce a liquid compound that when absorbed through someone else's skin affects the nervous system, creating a painkiller-like effect that can even - if the dose is high enough - cause the complete temporary shut down of the nervous system causing the body to either lose consciousness or lose temporary control of every muscle in their body, leaving them paralyzed.
Her immunities also affect beneficial drugs like painkillers and sleep aids, which makes any drugs she might need to take useless. While her body does not need rest, her mind does and being immune to fatigue-toxins make it very hard for her to rest. She needs to sleep at least 8 hours a week or else, her body will shut down for several days.

Physiological Adaptation: She is able to survive and adapt to different environments. If a plant can survive an environment, Hemlock's body can adapt and change to survive in that environment. This allows her not only to survive in desertic environments, cold environments (up to a degree) and underwater environments, but also to thrive in those environments. Her body can even adapt to long bouts without food or water by using sunlight to photosynthesize her own nutrients, she can also use photosynthesis to accelerate her body's natural healing of physical wounds.
