Born in the slums of Delhi, Gupta showed an aptitude in magic and studied at the feet of several wise men.  When he came of age he headed west to Constantinople to expand his knowledge.

He gained the ability to cast and control Plasma to devastating effect and has grown renown as the "God Slayer"
