Description:

Larissa stands at 5 ft 5, and weighs 135 pounds. She has short raven-black hair reaching down to her shoulders in length, and fair skin. Though overall not changed much, the Change has made her skin tougher, and her head spike is clearly visible to all. Her lower legs have started Changing as well, and even though she now has three toes on each foot she is not yet far enough along to be unable to wear boots.

Larissa has a tendency to wear armor, but whether her choice is a practical one (more durable) or related to her Change is as of yet unknown. Regardless, she wears plated boots and shinguards and metal bracers which make the wings on her arms seem like part of the armor itself. She also carries a sword strapped across her back with a family crest visible on the hilt, though she refuses to hand over the weapon for inspection.

History:

Not much is known about Larissa other than what she had to say about her past, and she speaks very little of it. From bits and pieces, it was clear her father had been an army officer that ended up protecting a couple of Changelings from a 'pureblood' lynch mob. Though he was successful, Larissa had been less fortunate tending to one of the Changelings' wounds, and ended up getting her blood mixed with theirs.

Realizing that she had been infected, her father decided that the best way to keep her safe from the mobs roaming the area would be to send her away to a safer location. Giving her his sword, he told her to lead the group to safety rather than turn her away, for which she was grateful. Though the Changelings in her grout eventually settled in Viridian, she decided to move on to the Indigo Plateau, knowing she could never return home.

Upon reaching the much lesser defended town of Suyilu however, she took it as an extension of her task to help protect the Changelings from harm, being one of the first recruits for the Suyilu Defense Force.
