Elena is a 29 year old Russo-American nurse assigned to a hospital ship operating in the Baltic sea, that served as an immobile hospital after being heavily damaged.
She was assigned as medical officer to the 11th Corps right before the assault of the German 3rd Army.
She's not so much of a soldier, joining the navy more because of the travelling opportunities and the possibility to aid sick people in need of help as a nurse.
Wading in blood for several years now have made her a bit disimpassioned and she seems to have little problem turning away seriously wounded personnel if medical supplies are low.
