Zheng-Ze

Zheng-ze most often appears as a slender, human male who looks quiet weak in frame but appears to otherwise be very healthy. His thin lips barely hide a pronounced overbite and his face seems slightly longer and his ears slightly bigger than the average. Despite this, Zheng-ze still is an average enough looking fellow and each of these slight differences are clues to Zheng-ze's true Hengeyokai nature; which is no secret to any of his current associates.

Zheng-ze seems to have a nearly boundless energy level. He is rarely at rest. Even when standing still his eyes search about his surroundings, his fingers twist or turn some small piece of vegetable or fruit (indeed! Zheng-ze seems to also constantly be eating or snacking on something in small quick bites, perhaps this explains his energy), for even his facial muscles seem to resent the quiet as they occasional twitch or crinkle up his nose in quick double-sniff as if testing the air.  Luckily, when the rest of his body is allowed motion, these quirks are not nearly as noticeable. He wears a hooded robe and carries a staff/walking stick.

Two of his prized possessions, and the reason he originally came to Kakou, are two scrolls written in bold strokes with minute flourishes; the characters are obviously not from the Common Ttongue. "The language of the Lung. These are my teacher's instructions as to what I am to do to complete my task." Zheng-ze twitches his nose and stows the scroll away again. "I am still working on a full translation, but it has begun to occur to me that perhaps Master Xiao-wei just wanted to be alone for a while...."

Zheng-ze smiles widely in an honest expression that somehow reaches his strange
gray eyes. "And I needed fresh company: not all wu jen are misanthropes."
