Nick Langston believed in seizing his dreams. A gifted painter and visual sculptor, he dropped out of art college because he found the rules and doctrines stifling, preferring to work in his own way, to create the dark, mysterious works that were his trademark on his own schedule. He was moderately successful, but without contacts in the galleries to display his works or a reputation amongst collectors promulgated by the art professors, he didn't sell enough to make a living at it, and so had to work part time at a garage to make ends meet.

He stands 6'1” tall, with a leanly muscular build like a surfer. His heritage is a complex blend; Irish, Cherokee, Hispanic, German, African, leading to an eclectic mix of features. Dark skinned but with a messy mop of fair hair, his eyes are the palest of greys, almost silver. He wears several tattoos; a Celtic knot across his toned stomach, a sleeve of Pacific style markings from elbow to wrist, a bouquet of roses, thorns and a skull between his shoulderblades. His is 25, an iconoclast, a romantic and a man of tempestuous feelings.
