Sgt. Cooper Kincaid is a cop from a family that have been cops as long as they've been in the New World. He was top of his class at the academy, earned his stripes and his battlescars on the streets and only declined a promotion to detective because he loved walking the beat, feeling the city under his soles, getting to know the people in each neighbourhood and helping them out with their problems. He's the poster-boy of a good officer; gets kittens out of trees, helps old ladies across the street, coaches a basketball team for underprivileged youth in the evenings, never draws his sidearm except as a last resort. He is honest, honourable, and truly believes in Protecting and Serving.

Coop stands 6'2" tall, and at 33 years old is in peak physical condition. He's incredibly fit and toned, with a compact, clean build rather than jacked muscles, but what he does have is well-defined and chiselled. His neatly cropped hair is prematurely grizzled, making him seem a little more mature than he is, matching his silver-flecked stubble. Piercing blue eyes sit in a tanned face, with crow's feet at the corners from squinting along the highways.
